I felt like I could open up using this app and have someone to talk to about stuff.
Staying connected with what’s happening inside yourself and your body gives you perspective on how your health mentally and spiritually impacts your life. Giving “Evolve” a little more context about your own life can make your future that much more Evolved.🌱🫶💜
It seems like an ok app but you have to pay for most of it. If I could pay for therapy then I would. Also something for the developers, for the explore part with the dealing with gender dysphoria, you put one of the most hated trans people. She is hated by everyone in and out of the community. Not for being trans but because she looks for problems to make content with.
I really like this app as a guide to start and end a day. It has some really meaningful/thoughtful prompts and practices that have been really helpful to me for about a week. The subscription price too is reasonable although the free version is fantastic as is. I personally have been considering upgrading to the subscription but there are some bugs in the app make me a little indecisive because they happen pretty frequently and sort of disrupt the experience. These all will be related to features that generally work great besides a small issue that comes interrupts their usage. For the first, the app has a nice feature where it starts up with nature noises that are really pleasant to listen during exercises and meditations. Today though these noises scared me twice because they just started to play without the app being open. The only way to get them to stop playing too was to actually open this app and close it in which they would immediately stop. It’s just odd because I am not sure what triggered them. My phone is always on silence too so I am not used to getting notification noises as is, but this seemed to be just the app that plays in the app. For both times I was nowhere near my phone but just noticed from a distance that some nature noises were being played (and sounded familiar.) Both times I just opened and closed the app to get the noises to stop playing. I am just glad I wasn’t anywhere that needed silence though. On another note, there are also meditations and breathing exercises on the app that are really well done on their own but they often look like they are made for a thinner screen like maybe a non-iOS device. I don’t mind this as is but sometimes the difference causes an issue where an exercise can’t be closed or finished (it’s infrequent though - sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t.) When the issue happens though, it feels like the touch screen doesn’t register no matter how many times the X in the corner is hit (even though my phone has a perfectly function screen too.) Luckily the app remembers and records everything despite this issue, it isn’t the worst problem to work but it sort of sticks out in a user’s experience of the app because the app shouldn’t have to be closed and re-opened again while following the exercises. In this case that’s how I solve the issue but it’d be nice not to need to do so.
A Life Saving App
Thank You
I can use this app because every time I get on it turns black and takes me off the app
Claims to be LGBT friendly yet it misgendered me in the very first journal prompt. Do not recommend.
It’s just help me go through my days and I just been out my head and just focus on what I got to do..
