Darkrise - Pixel Action RPG

I must to recommend this game to all RPG players. Easy farming system, fast clearing of dungeons, a very huge loot. Also good for casual players. Very cheap donate system (only as a support of development). No ads. Play it!

I was looking for good mobile rpg that i can grind and spend good time on it without boring and i really enjoy this game so far!

I’m currently lvl. 21 Rogue. The overall theme and setting so far feels really good, as a mix between dark and light for both environments and characters. The overall functionality of the game in terms of buttons and combat are solid enough, with some issues of player-character tripping on ground portions. It seems very extensive in progression, with many things to collect and upgrade, and I really like the simple, refined passives tree akin to Path of Exile. Exploring allocations feels safe, while firm and challenging of commitment. It also is a very accessible game, that can be quickly entered for a play session to any preferred extent, while not having FOMO things that keep you peeking back in too much in the day. You can just close the game and return to life matters. I don’t like seeing GUI visuals assets that I’ve come across in other games, and tbh I was expecting that the interface would have enough of its own style, across combat buttons, menu buttons, selection windows, etc. It really makes a world of difference, if you can harness them all into one thematic encapturement of the game, one that would have me navigating menus saying, “THIS, is Darkrise”. I think of the colors of the app icon image, Purple, Black, and White, and would just love to see buttons, HUD stats, and menu windows, altogether reflect those. I was saddened also, to find that my character could not have their visuals changed, but honestly, it’s not nearly much of an issue, when you’ve clearly gone after some really great animations, collision interactions, and sense of impact with object displacement, on breakables and enemies. It has me visually enjoying the targets more, while the base Rogue outfit looks cool enough. I really wish it had controller/gamepad support…

I was looking for and RPG with a good loot system. I have to say this hit the spot. I only have three small complaints. 1.) Unable to drop items from inventory when it’s full. This has caused me to have to pass up rare items. 2.) with the large amount of weapons and armor, equipping then do not change the appearance of your character. 3.) Any opportunity to watch an ad for gems or revival always results in the game saying ads are unavailable. These are minor problems and don’t take away from the fun too much. I do hope they are addressed in future updates.

Most pixel styled mobile games I’ve played look simple and are simple with no real depth. Darkrise flips that, and it’s simple at face value, but as you progress there is a lot more involved. As an inspiring Indie dev, this is a pixel base master piece. I do wish the hero’s had more variety, other than the base model you start the game with! All in all, I will be putting a lot more hours into this game! Keep up the development!

I just accidentally deleted a quest in the game. I saw an X that I thought would simply close the screen, and it deleted the, already completed but not turned in, quest. Deleted without warning and without any confirmation. I’m sick of horrible UX in these games. I will be putting this one down. I don’t want to find all the other bad design decisions that waste even more time.
