Great concept, questionable execution
The idea behind the app is great, but the app does not want to communicate with the station. It will connect, then drop the connection, then reconnect hours later but the data is hours old, then it will drop the connection. It does not want to communicate in real time, let alone communicate consistently. What good is monitoring if it won’t collect the data. This is a follow up to the earlier review. The app runs much better once the weather station communication issue was resolved. Two problems affected the ability of the data logger to communicate with WeatherLink. One problem was and old computer which had issues and the second problem had to do with going through Corp network. Both issues have been resolved and the app now works quite well. We still have some network delays but are looking at work around. We are very pleased with the app.
