I love this app… but I can’t send the data to My therapist. The button isn’t working to send email or report error.
This app really has everything. It is so nice to have all the DBT skills right on my phone to refer to at any time. The one small thing that could be improved would be the font color and size. It’s all in gray and small when you click on a skill category. It can be hard to read. Other than that, it’s perfect.
Not knowing what was wrong with me for 30 years, this is the first time I’ve been able to hold the answer to emotional regulation in my hands. Literally saved my life a few times, or at least saved me from self harm.
This is a great app that is easy to use, free and focuses on the four DBT modules. I’ve used this daily and on the occasion that I am in distress. Features that I love are the recorded guided mindfulness practices and the Crisis section, where I can click on it and depending on what I’m experiencing, it routes me to the set of skills that will help me. I’ve tried so many DBT apps and by far this has been the most life changing and helpful. To the developers— please allow users to donate to you as a form of thanks. Thank you for creating this.
No frills, and the English is very slightly...well maybe it’s just not American that I’m used to. But it seems to comprehensively cover all skills I vaguely remember learning when I did DBT 15+ years ago. I can’t believe they are able to provide this for free and judging from how few reviews there are, nobody knows about it! I just downloaded it and haven’t gotten into it much yet, but so far it seems amazing.
What a perfect pocket companion to practice using DBT skills! It’s hard to remember to use them or which ones to use when you’re “in a moment.” Especially a year outside of therapy. Thanks for this!!
The sound isn’t working on the audio but the rest of the app looks really helpful! Please fix this, I want to use it to its full extent!
This has a fantastic behavioral chain analysis function which I haven’t found in the other dbt apps. It’s not the easiest app ever, but definitely worth it! I’m listing the below issues for the developers... Its clunky. The fields for writing aren’t user friendly... the cursor won’t jump back, so you have to delete all the way back to something if you want to change it, it identifies misspelled words but offers no correction tools, and you can’t cut and paste. Also, some of the language seems translated by a computer from another language (Dutch?). I don’t really mind that it’s awkward, but there are a couple places where it makes no sense and limited my ability to utilize the area. Great content- thanks!
This is probably my favorite DBT app. I don’t even use the others. My only complaint thus far is on the chain of analysis. It would not let me go back and delete over one line so I could replace my text. It would also be nice if there was an option to email it to myself so I could print it.
