DD-WRT Legacy

Bought this app to switch my vpn off and on as required. It has not worked for me for months now and no response from developer.

Easy, fast way of looking at your dd-wrt router without having to go through a browser.

Love dd-wrt and its ability to wash my house in glorious UK wifi (expat in Germany here). Love that I can finally manage it all on my phone! And the Dev is awesome. Been really helpful and responsive! Thanks for a great app!!

If you use DD-WRT firmware on your router you've probably found that its web GUI doesn't work very well in a mobile browser such as iOS Safari. This great little app connects to your router and allows you to access and amend all your router settings through a fast and cleanly designed GUI. My only criticism would be that the cost of the app seems quite high, but I've found it very useful so it was money well spent.

It has very limited native support for anything. It would be nice in particular to have static IP assignments and startup commands. It is certainly not worth the money charged for it. At least it means you don't have to log in to access the web interface.

I have a home automation system that downloads TV shows automatically, and this app is a great little tool to let me see how much bandwidth I am using on my home router when I am on the road. The monthly charts are incredibly useful too. Good job!

There are cheaper apps that do a lot more than this one but so far there is not much app competition in the DD-WRT area. The app itself does allow the actions you might want. I hope the developer adds more features to justify the price. However, it fills a very much needed gap so also a thanks is due. Update: used it for a while and it is very good. I love that I can monitor using live graphs anywhere in the house. Update 2: indispensable! 5 stars!

Was fed up trying to remotely configure my router away from home for the kids via my phones web browser - this app takes all that frustration away. The options available are brilliant for doing things that the web browser make so hard on a small screen. I did balk at the price to start with but now I realise that it's worth every penny. Glad to see the dev is UK based and can spell correctly 😉 A must buy.
