Decked Builder

I used to love this app, but the search functionality changed drastically and now it is much harder to use. Also, Art cards (like the full art non playable cards) are in this app and will show up as the first entry (and only entry if you do not have “browse all versions” selected) Very sad as this used to be my favorite

The search option is now so convoluted and only works 1/8 of the time. I have used this app almost exclusively for many many years. I would love to see it repaired

Doesnt load pictures any more

So I have used this app sense 2016 and it was the best builder apps at the time but some time around 2023 (1.5 year ago) they did an update to make it look better and they ruined the app The bad Griddle with bugs Slow set update Obnoxious filter settings Occasional wiping of your decks on update Horrible sharing or importing or exporting of decks At this point there is no reason to use this app especially since it charges you. So just go use mana box it is free to use and runs better

As useful as the app is, it still has some issues that make it a bit tedious. The default search is collector number, when it could easily be anything else that’s actually useful, and sometimes it won’t let you change the tags you’re sorting by either. I think the most annoying of the issues though is that it’ll sometimes only bring up the full art “art card” of something you’re looking for, which then has you fully back out of your search and reselect your tags.

I’ve been using their desktop app for years and was looking forward to something more portable, but this app is pretty trash. Very hard to filter and find new cards to add to my collection, and the camera feature is very unreliable. If you have a larger collection this is not the app for you.

But all the new changes have made it unusable for me. Even when browsing “without duplicates” it still shows all the different promo arts, full arts, etc. it also default sorts by collector number now when for years it has sorted alphabetically by cost. I wish it used to be the way it was. Seriously, why would I want to see the art card when I’m searching for a card by name? I’ve paid for this app on android and apple and it’s just plain unusable for me now.

Would have given this a 5 for years. But now it’s largely unusable. The single version of a card setting doesn’t work. So when searching for something instead of seeing 20 results I get like 50 plus because cards show up multiple times with all the different arts and borders. I also much preferred it organizing results by mana cost (which it can no longer do) instead of card number from the set so it’s impossible to know where in a list of the results a card is going to show up. Additionally it’s just been buggy since the major revamp a year or two ago and it will still show the wrong card when you pick something from a search or deck list.

This was my mainstay app for almost ten years. Not sure what to say. They absolutely destroyed this app with a revamp that made it slow, buggy, and a total chore to use. The search engine is now less intuitive with more menu-diving. This is the only review I've ever written. Whoever decided to reinvent this app has never heard the saying, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." You guys completely blew it. The "new" App has seen basically zero improvement updates since it's release from beta.

This was a useful deck builder, multiple poorly thought out UI updates later and a change to how card searches work and it is entirely worthless. I reached out to support and they said they wont be fixing the problem. What is the problem you ask? Well every version of every card is displayed in your search as unique entries. Want to find all cards with a given trigger? Have fun sorting through 50 versions of the same card including every alternate language version. There is no way to change this (i asked support). I had bought most add-ons for the app and now have to find a new deck building app.
