Decoupled

So happy I’ve found it. This app does exactly what it promises and nothing else - it plays my music, mp3s and flacs stored on the decice. The interface is very simple and it’s hard to do something wrong. I actually came here to find out if there’s a way to pay the author

Thank god this exists, it doesn’t take much to top foobar2000 iOS! The share to folder trick to make Decoupled aware of music folders from Files is genius.

Nothing to add. Ogg✅. Flac✅. Darkmode 💤 is missing - eventually.

This is exactly the app i was looking for. Love it. The only things i am missing is a "shuffle all" button and a widget.

I really like this app, it works well and does the basics very well. I would like to see the ability to create a playlist added, and have noticed some issues with the library management concerning files with umlauts in the meta data (they don’t show up!)

The best music app for people who take music seriously - seriously! Especially if you dont wanna rely on the apple ecosystem.

Really straight and a joy to use! The only thing I’m missing is support for CarPlay.

Now that the iPhone 15 will recognize an external drive is there a way to playback from the external drive rather than importing the audio files to the phone? I’m trying not to fill up my iPhone and still be able to play however many songs will fit on my usb-c drive. I can’t really rate it honestly until I see if that’s a feature I can use.
