Delivery From the Pain(No Ads)

Really frustrating game. You are drowned in food when you start but most of it goes bad before you eat it then the food disappears and you are left trying to trap rats in a park when you’d rather be shoving a fork in your eye. You get diarrhea every 30 minutes and looting the hospitals gets you a bunch of useless junk that doesn’t help. Speaking of useless junk, that’s 90% of what you get through looting because you are too busy trying to eat 80000 calories a day. You get unhappy and it kills you for some reason. Zombie pathing AI is god awful, which in a stealth game basically means it’s unplayable. This isn’t a survival game. It’s a “win before the clock runs out” game. Spend your money elsewhere

I wasn’t expecting much but this game surprised me. It’s similar to many F2P games but without the annoying mechanics. In other words, you’re upgrading your base while you’re exploring the story. The gameplay feedback loop is fine. You’ll be doing about the same things again and again but what can you really expect from a zombie game? There is also a “cheat mode” of sorts, where you can exploit the game to get free resources if you just want to fly through the story. The storyline is a bit hard to follow, maybe because the writing isn’t that good. Nonetheless, for $5, it is a fun game, and I don’t regret for buying it. I’ve paid a lot more on games here than provided half the fun.

Took about a week to beat the game. Good graphics, excellent mechanics, long story that is well written. It’s made in 3 chapters and each presents new exciting challenges. I suggest first play through on ‘Normal,’ as it is relatively easy resource management allowing you to enjoy the story. Second play through on ‘Hard’ is punishing - you’ll really feel like you’re struggling to survive in the apocalypse. 100% worth more than the $5 they ask.

It will be nice to have a version for the iPhone with a bigger screen. I’m sure this works on an iPad, but on iPhone, you can barely see anything. I wonder if it’s just laziness? If that’s the case, can the developers at least let us customize the buttons, so if I wanted to use the zoom feature from accessibilities, I can at least put the buttons where I want them.

This is just really amazing! I hope u guys continue to update this game I immediately love this when I played the free version and gotta say it’s worth the money for the paid one

This is a great game!!! I will give it a very much deserved 5 stars! I have been playing this game for several weeks now and so far it is awesome! The game has an option built in that if you die, you start from the previous day but the negative effects are gone and if you die 3 times, you can request one of 3 help crates, Food, resources or weapons. This game is by far one of the better games you can find in the App Store. I would like to encourage the developers to make more games like this one.

This game is a unique blend of “Overlive” and “This War of Mine” ... 2 of my favorite survival games. IT IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT. Some brief thoughts. The artwork and visual details are very nicely done. Sound effects and ambiance are also of high quality. The dialogue and grammar need some work. The controls are slightly clunky, yet functional and require some getting used to. A great improvement was recently made to the radar and HUD. That tells me that the devs are committed to maintaining a quality game. If the game had no opponents, bosses, or zombies - it would still be challenging. Scavenging and crafting require forethought and planning. The stealth vs. might combat is a refreshing change. Resources are scarce and perishable. Weapons and facilities degrade quickly and constantly need repair. Tech tree and research are straightforward. There’s a lot to do. There’s a lot of gameplay here. The plot is somewhat forced, affording little ‘rogue’ or ‘free world’ atmosphere. Although some choices affect the story - it’s all pretty driven toward a common theme. This is for adults. It has a Rated R quality involving language, sex, and drugs - again a refreshing change. Replayability seems high. You can attack this game differently every time u pick it up. Some rambling complaints... **Different characters with opposing skill sets would be nice. **I would really, really like to be able to run within my shelter. **The zombie traps and spiked walls seem entirely ineffective. **There seem to be a lot of zombies wearing football uniforms and riot gear. **Fishing/hunting is absent. **A few more allies/survivors could really help out. **The discovery % of each location reflects rotten food and unusable resources. **There should be doors to open and close during exploration/combat. **Crossbow proximity should not matter within 100 feet - that bolt should do the same amount of damage no matter how close u are. I still haven’t completed the game but I’m close. Some repetitive action is required. I believe Delivery From the Pain is a ‘diamond in the rough’. It has all the pieces of a true survival saga. Any indie development team should certainly be proud of this effort. Glad I paid 5$ for it. A fine example of pay once. Make more!

This game is great! I’d like to be able to craft more items and have more quests (in the future maybe?). It’s fun to play and difficult to put down.
