In DERE EVIL EXE, you step into the tiny shoes of a silent hero named 'Knightly'. Knightly must jump, run, and manipulate environments in order to survive the heart-racing journey through a stunning pixel art world.
Within surreal structures lurk dangerous creatures known as 'corruptions'. They take the form of their creator's greatest fears. You should go check it, if not afraid of hard games
Ok, so, graphics, music, movement and whole gameplay is pleasant and fun. Story is enjoyable, it’s not the best but it’s here, it has some relatable or likeable characters, a little bit of twist in the end and maybe tension on who you should trust, but i guess developer (character) is just a shady guy in general so i dunno i think it’s apparent he’s not good guy from the start. (Tho i like him the most because got a little bit connected, and I don’t connect personally with characters that much so you won my sympathy). So basically a nice story, you don’t hate it, you can enjoy it and it’s cool. Horror aspect is actually kinda nah, i’m a really impressive human and the only thing that was kinda creepy to me is knocks on the door and first bossfight. Difficulty is pretty hard, but i like hard games so if you do too go check it, very fun and entertaining game, but if you want more horror go check hopbound, it has more creepy things and the plot is kinda dark. Oh, and it’s very fun to speedrun because of physics of character and plenty of stuff to get faster. So, a pretty good game, i liked it and i think you would too, probably. :)

I was about 15 minutes in when the jump button just quit working on me. Please fix this, I’d really like to play this game but I have to keep restarting and I’m only on level 1.

After playing DERE Vengeance, the news game from this studio, I felt empty and wanted more.
So here I am, replaying the game that got me hooked into this phone game studio.
DERE Evil EXE is a short and sweet game with challenges that will annoy you. I remembered this game to be hard as nails and it had a meta flavor to it.
Pretty happy now. Satisfied!
