App says Yes, Company says No
The app could do with yet another redesign in order to actually sync up with the availability of taxis. We booked an emergency taxi as our car had packed up and our booking was accepted on the app. We received a tracking code for a driver on the way in the morning, only to get a cancellation 10 minutes later. When I called to clarify, I was told there was actually never any availability in the first place. We were lucky in being able to source alternate means to get to our schools for work, but others might not be. Better syncing between the taxi bookings and availability of cars and drivers is needed to avoid serious problems in the future. We also received no apology for the incident which almost left us stranded and unable to get into work.
