Dexcom G6 mmol/L DXCM1

I used to be able to swipe left on my Lock Screen to see my sugars on the widget I updated the software and now no widget exists please can you advise?

This app used to be perfect until a bout two months ago. I don’t always receive alerts when I’m high or low. When I open the app, I have to wait 2-3 seconds for the most up to date reading to show up. Not sure how this delay started because this used to be instant. Please fix this! This is preventing alerts from going off when needed.

if i could give it 0 stars i would.😭Always disconnects everyday and ask me to re login i’ve tried re downloading the app and it doesn’t change. Also it makes me phone go off in the most awkward situations and won’t let me switch the notifications off.

Over all it’s a great device, really helps with controlling my glucose levels, the app on the other hand is a bit annoying. It seems to have been designed more for medical professionals, would love to know if they did any user research? Also the alarm that alerts you to lows is very annoying/obnoxious, I’ve had T1D for the past 20 years and I don’t need an alarm ringing every time my levels drop, they should really have the option to silence it, kinda takes away a bit of your autonomy in relation to having TD1.

App works as advertised. Connects to g6 transmitter very easily. If there is any issues, the dexcom tech support team are very helpful getting things resolved. My diabetic team can see all my results, making it easier to change insulin doses and medical advice.

For starters; all the sounds are horrific, really cause far more stress than is necessary. Please allow users to select their own sounds. Secondly - why is there no dark mode, not ideal to have to view a glaring screen in the middle of the night Last but not least - why can I only view 24 hours? Surely 48 at a minimum makes logical sense.

The new Siri shortcut is awesome, I’ve used it about 5 times a day since it was added.

Horrible app, loss of signal for hours during 24 hours, errors on readings even after several calibrations, I honestly think the Dexcom G6 it’s a waste of money and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANY ONE, my previous sensor from Freestyle was thousand of times better and more accurate, but since I use this Dexcom G6 I only have lots of problems in maintaining my blood sugars just because the loss of signal and errors from transmitter. And they don’t have a 24 hour tech support to help you with issues.

Been using it a month or so. Great when it works but disaster when goes wrong (way off glucose numbers), resetting the while system is a nightmare (reinstall app, pairing). I would also not trust the compatibility with iOS updates (should be ready for new patches eg security updates that uses will want to install for device management but not app is not updated). Bluetooth data comms seems clunky.

I really love the app and it has improved my blood sugars massively since I started using it. My HBA1c has reduced from 65 to 51 in the space of 6 months. Recently, the app is continually losing signal and doesn’t rectify itself. I have to switch off/on my phone or Bluetooth to get it working again. I have changed transmitter and the issue still persists. It probably loses signal 10-15 times a day. It seems to happen most during the night which is really frustrating because I wake up not knowing what my sugars have been during the night. Can you please create an app fix for this???
