False advertising
There is not even an option for dark mode
Nagging for location
I’ve used this app many years, it was good until recently when the app started nagging me to enable locations each time I want to add a new entry.
Worst app ever, total waste of my money
Bought the pro version, the app shuts down randomly and constantly wipes out texts. Emailed the developer multiple times, without ANY correspondence back.
Only complaint is there’s no true Dark Mode.
App has come a long ways. Great job No true dark mode. That’s my only complaint. 3/4/20 Emailed developer about this. He’s right on it. crashed when I removed a location from the app that was being auto stored. Happened twice
Over 1000 entries. Best app, but no support.
I have been using the app and the website version for years now as a paid subscriber. I have well over 1000 entries which are grouped into four folders. I like this feature that other programs do not offer. The folders. No other program, I found features the level of organization and search capacity and ease that I found with this app. on the other hand, there are drawbacks. I do use a dedicated dropbox account to back this up. There are many times when the app and the web browser version will not synchronize. I have never received a return message from support anytime I have contacted the developer. in general, the problem can be solved by unlinking the dropbox account and relinking it. However, that will then prompt a significant time-consuming re-synchronization of the account. I do perform backups periodically, which I think is very important if you care about your journal. I also have PDF versions in case the company ever goes under.

Cannot reset password
I cannot reset my password. Therefore, I cannot keep journaling. I have switched apps
Simple and works, one time payment
This app is basic and simple. I did not want a fancy interface and a subscription model. I paid for it once, and I’ve synced my entries with Dropbox. This allows me to either log a quick journal on my phone, ipad, or windows pc. I have been using it for the past 3 years, and it simply works with no fuss.
