For days none of the definitions would come up for any word. Thankfully this has been fixed. However now I can’t save words to any of my favorites lists, which I use daily. This app has been such a headache and it’s clear the developers don’t really care about offering a good product. I’m sad I paid for this. It’s time for me to move on to another app.
I tend to use daily when doing NYT Connections.
I am always seeking word that I don’t know and this site is highly convenient and easy to use thank you
Edit: problem fixed. Though i still find it weird that there hasn’t been any updates for one a year. All I get when I search for a word is “ No results found for ____”. Been happening now for about 3 days. I noticed there hasn’t been an update in a year.
No longer working with my iPhone or iPad mini for some reason it works on my iPad Pro. When I type in a word it comes up. This word does not exist or something like that. I have just about all the upgrades you can get with Dictionary.
Bought the ad-free version a year or so ago, and I used this app at least every other day. I loved it. But in the past couple weeks, the app has stopped working. Whenever I search anything, it says “no results found” (and yes, I spelled the words right). I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, as well as signing out and signing back in. Help 😢
Illusion or disillusioned are not obscure words and they were NOT in this app. The lack of basic words has occurred enough times now that even though I paid for this app, I have deleted it will install Webster’s app. Very disappointing.
It was inaccessible for several days and there was not even a way to report it or to get an explanation
Although I’m able to see the definitions to the words now, it doesn’t let me save any of the words to my favorites list
I discovered that the app was suddenly broken when it found no definition for “curmudgeon“. So, here’s an example of curmudgeon: “When the Dictionary app suddenly broke, a user that paid for the app was such a curmudgeon that he told the developers they had to had one week to fix it or else he was going to delete it, subscribe to the ODE app, and never look back.“ P.S., It was fixed and there was much exultation.
