Ich bin wirklich sehr enttäuscht von Euch! Habe für die Pro-Version viel Geld bezahlt, u.a. um die lästige Werbung loszuwerden. Jetzt sind advertisements wieder da; ich kann meine getätigten Käufe zwar sehen aber nicht mehr wiederherstellen. Was soll denn das? Privatsphäre achtet Ihr auch nicht. Warum sollte ich mir bei Euch einen account anlegen - wissend - daß Ihr sofort mit meiner Emailadresse und den persönlichen Daten Handel treiben werdet?
It seems to me that your greed has completely overpowered your effort in making a useful and valuable app. Now it is just another junk enriched and fraudulent application. Your behaviour is so disappointing!

What’s your business model folks? Why do you exist? Just take a look at your past 8 years, look at your app versions and your business model now. More lucrative, huh? More bucks coming your way? Bet it’s sweet and juicy, nah? And also dirty, I assure you. Obsolescence of the watch app was an improvement? Dealing in users’ data with all those trackers built in your so-called dictionary app is an update? What you’re doing behind the screen has got nothing to do with literacy and language learning. All I can say is I’m sorry for you. You really deserve this contempt, because you’re a textbook example of a quality app maker going all the way down. You’re at the mercy of your own insatiable greed. And regarding your motto, absolutely not, Dictionary.com is in fact the very last dictionary anyone respecting their privacy will need. Poor all those who’ve paid for your pro version and given you 5 stars. iOS 14.5 Update: sorry that your long-lasting honeymoon is finally at dawn, coming to an end. I know you and your dearest analytical friends are pretty bummed, but don’t worry folks, greed is your best compass, you’ll find better tricks soon, I have confidence in your anti-privacy capabilities. By the way, ever need help? Just call Mark! Worse comes to the worst, he’ll go public once again to say, “how sorry he is for all the wrong he and his folks did.” And yet again will go as before.

Absolutely amazing and easy to use. Helps effectively to learn and increase the ability to use the english language. Make you astonished (and sometimes frustrated 😉) about the vastness of the vocabulary (word of the day). To make it absolutely perfect would be to add a automatic matching of similar words during writing (as not native sometimes you don't know the exact notation). Splendid and worthwhile!

As an ESL teacher, I have found this app to be extremely useful. Being able to find synonyms or the etymology is an important plus.
Love it
Being German I use the app almost every day and it never lets me down. Especially the offline feature is perfect for me. Being a nerd I really like etymology part.
Oft sogar besser als Oxford DoE
## it would be helpful if the app could be launched externally (e. g. from Dict.cc) with a certain word and then also go straight to e g Origin.
Sowohl die Wortbedeutungen als auch die Etymologie sind häufig sogar besser als beim Oxford Dictionary of English. Gute Bedienung. Nett gemacht. Klare Empfehlung. Genutzt auf iPhone 5S unter 8.4.1, und auch iPhone 5 unter 9.2.
