This app is definitely great and very easy to use

Not all features work correctly, search has major issues as data is not cross linked. Not all of the categories work such as the link to the Home Depot store, just freezes. Really have to drill down on some searches.

The app, which promises an efficient way to navigate life on the base, falls short in delivering accurate and useful content. Firstly, the information provided often appears outdated or incorrect. This is a significant concern as it directly impacts the daily lives of soldiers who rely on the app for crucial updates about Fort Campbell. Whether it’s about facility timings, on-base events, or critical notifications, the app’s reliability is questionable. Moreover, the app seems to be heavily commercialized. A substantial portion of the interface is dedicated to advertisements and promotions for AFFES (Army & Air Force Exchange Service), giving an impression that the primary goal is to drive sales rather than genuinely assist military personnel. While AFFES is an integral part of life on military installations, the overt focus on marketing over meaningful content is disheartening. This approach not only detracts from the app’s utility but also raises concerns about prioritizing profit over the well-being of soldiers. The expectation would be a balanced platform offering essential services, information, and some level of commercial content. However, the current state of the app feels more like a digital billboard than a supportive tool for those serving at Fort Campbell. In conclusion, the Digital Garrison app has the potential to be a valuable resource for the Fort Campbell community. However, its effectiveness is hampered by inaccurate information and an overwhelming focus on commercial interests. It’s imperative for the developers to address these issues to ensure that the app truly serves the needs of our soldiers and their families, rather than being a vehicle for profit.

Have attempted to use this app twice and both times there are many errors and unable to create a account. And unable to use as guest as first click on any features requires you have to login? Get it done!

When ever I’m at a different base either with a PCS or visit, easy to change location and retrieve information easily.

The Application is a great resource tool and user friendly. Adding a “Road Conditions” status would aid leaders in mitigating risk prior to movement. Thank you.
