Many great features in the app. It connects directly to your iPad Photos and other photo libraries. It even plays the audio on your video files. I have a digital picture frame. It’s larger than an iPad, but you have to load photos into it one by one. I’ll give it to somebody. I do wish that it would only display the photo location and date.

I was going to buy a digital photo frame but this works so easy. I already had an iPad I use occasionally so I put it to use. It is so simple to use and works seamlessly. Fast communication also with developers.

If you’re looking for an app to give new life to an old slow iPad then get this app! Your old iPad will become an easily customizable picture frame, that’s so much better than those expensive stand-alone photo frames, which usually have proprietary subscriptions and limited access to users and new content. In our case we have 53,000 photos, live photos, and videos stored at Google Photos and backed up at Apple. I can select either of those sources (there also Dropbox and other sources) and the content becomes an extremely configurable slide show that I display on my kitchen counter. I can customize things like transitions, time displayed, scaling, overlays (such as time and location meta info), turning off the display at night, and more. Another great feature is the ability to pause a photo or video, and you can then even text, airdrop, email it or post it to social media. I do have one tip though, to get the maximum number of photos to display, update the old iPad to the latest iOS that the system suggests. I have only one negative issue to share, it now takes me much longer to complete any task in the kitchen because my attention keeps drifting to the Digital Photo Frame! It’s so much fun to relive all those memories.

I have used Digital Photo Frame Slideshow for several months to convert an old iPad into a digital picture frame. I am quite happy with its performance. I use Google photos to collect the photos into albums of old pictures that are not in my current Apple photo collection. Photos load quickly from google photos once I learned How. The App offers a nice selection of transitions and other variables.

My photo frame has been giving me grief for a while so I decided to see about finding an app to use my iPad and this works flawlessly. I love how many options there are for custom settings (timer for picture transitions, date, time, weather, runtime schedule) it’s perfect and my husband and I can use a shared folder for all pics vs having to send them to the frame since this checks automatically. Thank you!

This is a great app for displaying your photos! It has so many features and it is very flexible so check it out! I had one issue: After the free trial I bought a yearly subscription but the software didn't update for some reason. I contacted the developer and he responded within a few hours, fixed the issue and sent me an apology. Great customer service! Thank you!
