This app keeps me doing all the things I would otherwise neglect or be too lazy to do.
Exactly what I needed. Thank you.
I’ve been playing with this app today, and I love it so far. It’s very easy to use, there’s lots of functionality, and the click sequences are generally very intuitive. There are just two features I’d add to make it perfect: let me drag/drop to re-order habits on the mail page, and read my apple health data to automatically mark linked habits complete. For example, I added a habit to meditate daily, and it would be great if Discipline could read the Mindful Minutes I’ve logged in apple health to mark this task complete for me. Thanks for all of the hard work that when into building and maintaining this app! It’s really appreciated.
Just didn’t seem as big of a deal as this app, which is easier (and idk why) but more meaningful to me. For example, when I am indulging one day, I actually feel ‘undisciplined’. Mind you, I don’t beat myself up and stay positive. I’m just trying to keep track of my habits and this does the trick well.
I have struggled to incorporate good habits in my life with consistency. This app has all the tools to help me stick to the daily practice of building positive habits.
Clean, minimalist and easy to use. Only suggestion is having the ability to lock the app, just incase a person wants to keep it private or lets their kid use their device.
This app is well organized and intuitive. I was able to start using it right away
The statistics it shows are simplistic and meaningless. There’s no way to view all of your tracked habits histories at once. They trick you into premium and only deliver on something that vaguely resembles a calendar (really just a box matrix with a “heat map” - no numbers denoted the days, no explanation as to what the colors of the boxes means). You also get a line graph that shows how many of your habits you’ve completed over time, but no info on which ones or their weight. For example, I’m trying to quit drinking. Im also trying to cook more. If I make it through a day not drinking that should count for way more “points” than if I cook one night. But they’re counted and displayed equally and you can’t even track the history of both on the same screen. You can either see the combined habits you stuck to over time or you can click into individual habits. I honestly thought it was a glitch and uninstalled/reinstalled the app when I first saw how rudimentary premium was. This is clearly just some CS major’s senior project or something. If you’re going to charge $0.99/month on this, at least put some effort into the data analytics.
Well designed and useful, glad I found this app
The functionality of this app is great. It has everything you need in a habit tracker except social pressure by linking to friends and sharing results with each other for encouragement. I'm still trying it out. There is a field in each habit setup dialog for an emoji. But it only accepts one character so it's not looking for UNICODE. It has no options to view and select emojis. What is the field for?
