Dive Chat: Make Moments Happen

I love the social features and emphasizing in-person connection. The app is fun and also useful 🤙🏼

My fraternity started using Dive Chat instead of GroupMe and it is vastly better. The app runs so much smoother. It feels natural to use. Most of the chapter was skeptical at first because change is hard, but we all are very impressed!

We were using basic iMessage for the longest and it was so annoying to create separate GCs for every topic (e.g. a single concert or stargazing group for repeat events). plus POLLS! we can finally have easy agreement/headcounts on dates that work for events! I do wish there were some extra features: * Hide events you have declined - seems like an easy filter. I don't want to see all the events I can't/don't want to go to on my Dive calendar. I also don't want those events to go onto my synced Apple calendar. * Pin events to a specific channel - e.g. pending stargazing events could be pinned to the stargazing channel so they're easily found by members (similar to attachments being accessible from the chat's info). * Chat on event pages - there's already a feed on events for responses and people can write comments there; I wish we could also converse on the event itself apart from those responses. It would help with figuring out logistics for an event with just attendees, rather than having all of that conversation in the larger chat. * Share event administration - I've made events on behalf of others and wish I could "pass it over" (at least I haven't found a way to do it...) or share it with another person. All around, love this app! It's been a big answer to my groupchat prayers 🤙

Get this app to host events and make RSVPs sooooo easy!!

if you use groupme for anything, do yourself a favor and download this instead! better interface, so much easier to use and way better for events and messaging. highly recommend!!

I absolutely love the Dive Chat app! It has become my go-to platform for planning events and get-togethers. The user-friendly interface keeps me coming back, and it has significantly surpassed my experience with GroupMe, Slack, and Partiful. If you're looking for a top-notch app to coordinate events, Dive Chat is the way to go!

Love using Dive Chat! It’s super easy to message between groups and plan events. It’ll even auto-generate event suggestions based on messages. Love the real-time react feature as well.

i love this app but recently it has become unusable!! tapping on a chat rarely works and i constantly have to exit the app to try again

For every event I’m having from here on out I’m using Dive Chat! It’s so easy to send out to everyone and I love seeing all of the interactions. Me and my friends have a group chat on the app now too and it’s so fun and helps us stay organized!
