Just a store.
I assumed DJI was forwarding me to a professional recording app to capture audio for film. Ha! Jokes on me. Just a store. I guess I should use Apple Memos or upload Rode. At least I can buy more DJI lickity split!

Thought I would purchase directly from DJI via their store App. Unfortunately in store data is complexly unreliable and shipping dates are wild guesses. Purchased an entire set of equipment well in advance of Christmas and by year end they finally sent an email that the entire shipment is indefinitely delayed. Amazon Prime had everything available with 2 day shipping. Everything would have been here for Christmas vs now the holidays are almost over and not a single part of the order has even been shipped.
Contents of new drone suggest this app is required to operate the drone. Instead it is just an app based store, as if Amazon doesn’t exist or something.
The app is very great overall but the virtual flight sim on the app does not make sense. Like for example when I crash on the ground in the game, the drone in the sim bounces off the ground. Same thing when I crash in the water it bounces again. But yeah overall the app itself is great.👍
Just ok
The virtual flight feature is in the app and works fine on a Mac. It does take a bit of looking to get through the sales material, however. Maybe the one-star negative reviews were caused by user frustration at not quickly finding the simulation. I've never flown a drone and this was my first attempt at virtual flight, but it was easy to figure out how to follow the flight objectives. The initial beginner-level instructions were clear and helpful. The only limitation to my experience was that I don't have a joystick or controller. Flying with a Mac touchpad limits control to one axis at a time, but that's not the app's fault.
I don’t usually write reviews but this deserves it. Absolutely terrible how you force me to watch an ad for your products before I open it up to BUY something from the store. Feels forced, intrusive, and a huge turn away from even opening the app. Will delete until then and just use the website that’s how annoying it is.
They moved the virtual flight to the store app for some reason and broke it. We can't use the new DJI FPV remote 3 to train with this? What is the point? I thought I would be able to practice manual control with this and now I'm stuck buying another app "liftoff" just to train. DJI why are you doing this to your customers?
This could be a great app if you can add a controller instead of using touch.
Who is this "smart manager", who come up add to the title Try Virtual Flight, wihtout this feature. It's kind of clickbait approach! Disappointed!
