Good App.
My husband and I were looking for an app to easily protocol everything our dog does. This app has it all. It would just be a tad better, if the app would also be available for watches.

I’m just starting to use the app and love it. I wish there was a way to grab 2 or 3 events at once. For instance we take our dog on a walk and she pees and poops. Unless I’m missing something you have to log that 3 times. Not the end of the world but it adds a little tedium to an otherwise great app
thumbs up
It is so easy to use, and does everything we need. I do wish there was a way to record using an Apple Watch (always wear an apple watch but don’t always have an iPhone), but that’s a minor inconvenience. Thanks for a great app!
3.99 per month or 39.99 per year!!!
I really wish you guys would just let you use your email
I am a data analyst so my review may be a bit harsher than normal. i really enjoy the app, but the metrics are missing some key indicators: crate time, play time, activity time (like large hikes, or dog park outings). these indicators tell us how long a dog has been cooped up, even if not asleep and keeps an eye on big expenditures of energy, or helps retrace steps if a dog comes up sick later (sick Wednesday from eating trash in park Tuesday). the metrics are a nice start, but i would like to look at the cumulative duration of my puppy's sleep hours to calculate if she has slept 12 or more hours for the day. seeing a 1 block for every two hours on a histogram requires too much calculation for my needs, it should be a quick, simple glance. it would also be nice if the metrics combined the proper context. how long after she drinks did she pee (able to select two logs and calculate time between); how long after eating did she poop. knowing how many times i logged these things does not help me, i shouldn't have to filter the track log and count manually. the point of a dashboard is to give the insights i need at a glance, and this app seems to be for keeping track of a dogs activity, health, and behaviors. Having metrics that reflect what people are actually looking for when monitoring the things mentioned before would go a long way in quickly understanding information. --- EDIT: thank you for pointing me to the right direction for making more metrics! that truly elevated the app. to the last point the developer asked: yes, it would be nice if the context was automatic (what does in must come out, essential for potty training logs), but clicking on two events to see the duration BETWEEN them is a great functionality.
This app is really great. Very helpful to keep the humans on track with the fur kids, making sure medicines are given. Etc- have not tried premium
This has been a wonderfully easy app that my boyfriend and I use to make sure the dogs are fed. We can both see the time and make sure our pets are getting the water and nutrients they need as well as making sure they are walked enough!
Dog Log is amazing! I am able to track all my baby’s activities. I was a bit skeptical at first but the feature to add photos and custom entries has me super excited. I’ve been using Dog Log for about a year. Purchased mainly to keep up with well…logs! My puppy was having lots of odd poops and rather than pen and paper I wanted something to show the vet. My vet was super impressed as he was able to establish a pattern and diagnosed my baby with stress colitis (previous diagnosis food allergies). The new treat is working great and all thanks to Dog Log organization of photo and events 🐶🙏🏻
