Can’t change feeding plan. My cat is 3 kg. It feeds 60g everyday…

Can’t connect to the device without using same Wi-Fi. I can only use it when I am home. Such a ridiculous way to be a “Wi-Fi” machine. Why should I use it when I am home!!!!!!

The app asks you to add your pet and information about it, including how much you want to feed it. It allows you to input multiple pets. This is useless to do, because it only feeds 1 pet automatically when you set it. It doesn’t feed 1 pet and then switch to feed the other one. You need to calculate how many portions you want served to be enough for both! I have 2 cats and 1 is a year older than the other. I wanted 2 portions to disperse for the older cat and 1 for the baby. I had logged in to the kitten last, so when I was at work it only dispensed 1 meal total! Now I have changed it to show 3 portions for the baby and that’s what it dispenses. Another issue is that it says ants and other insects can’t get in and that the feeder is tightly closed, which is not true. I moved my feeder and some foof fell out of the dispenser, as there is no ‘door’ to prevent insects from coming inside. I live where ants are always an issue so this is problematic for me. Another issue is the software. Every time the feeder dispenses food, you will get a message saying that your pet has been fed. There’s no way to delete past messages, so this could be a potential problem in time, as there is no way to clear the messages. There is something that says ‘ clear cache’ but it doesn’t seem to do anything. The past months of messages cannot be deleted. There’s also no way of making the notice that you ‘have a message’ to clear. On the app, there’s a little red light showing you have messages but when you read your messages, the red light doesn’t go away. Originally it did if you read the message, however, now that I have a great deal of messages that I can’t delete from history, the red ‘you have unread messages’ can’t be deleted in any way.

Difficult to connect with device. And, the devices are disconnected frequently. No support is available. DO NOT buy Dogness Products coz of terrible APP.

Good feeder but ever since the last update the time zone won’t change. My feeders have to remain an hour behind because there is no way for the system to update. I can’t change the color of the light, when clicking the color option nothing happens. App and settings could be more intuitive or actually work.

FIRST: they keep deleting my review. I posted an updated review with their last app revision. Now my review was gone - AGAIN! SECONDLY: As of 4/3/24 they updated their app several weeks ago and screwed things up. Just check reviews (if not deleted) and you’ll see. For starters among many things - you can no longer pinch zoom camera view.

I can no longer connect to the device via WiFi. It is useless junk, save your money.
