Dominate is a logic puzzle that uses a standard 'double six' set of 28 dominoes. The puzzle board represents all of the 28 dominoes from 0:0 to 6:6 placed next to each other in a 7 by 8 grid. The problem is, you can't see which squares join to which others to form the dominoes.
Your task is find those links, by applying logic to determine a layout for the entire board such that each domino is used only once.
FEATURES:
+ Auto-generated boards
+ An almost limitless number of puzzles
+ Inbuilt solver provides hints and a target time to beat
+ Full tutorial to help you learn the game
+ Tracks your progress, keeping puzzles challenging
+ Pause the game to easily see your progress
TIMING & HINTS:
Dominate rates each puzzle it generates to give you a target time, the faster you are the higher your score. If you're stuck you can ask for a hint, but the better you get, the more hints will cost you.
If all you want to do is solve puzzles and you don't care how long it takes, that's cool, you will still be able take advantage of the virtually limitless number of puzzles in the game.

Love the game, am at level 33 and I still hit the hint function by accident when going back. Please, please, please, move it over to the pause location. Would rather hit pause than hint. Thanks for a great game!
I want 5000
Wish there was more logic behind the score. The closer to “perfect” you get the closer to 5000 you get. I’ve gotten 4999 a bunch of times by solving the 4 - 8 hr targets in 2 or 3 minutes. I gave up when I solved a 64 hr puzzle in 2 minutes and 45 seconds and still got a 4999. 😭
Instant classic
The rules are simple, but there is much strategy under the surface. Although the game looks like dominos, the thinking needed to solve it is similar to that in sudoku.
The tutorial is good, but the hints are an even better way to learn because they come just when you need them.
Each new version has been better than the previous one. The latest version adds a better point assignment system; previous updates made the interface much nicer.
This should be considered one of the all-time great computer games. It is too bad it is only on iOS.
Terrific game, very addictive
I enjoy the game very much. I would appreciate having the ability to disable the hint function - or at least relocate it - so I don’t accidentally tap it when trying to undo/redo. It would also be very nice if the developer would share the method by which scores and rankings are calculated.
Looks simple but quite challenging
In this game, it looks quite simple, but it’s not; it’s quite challenging. All 28 dominoes have been placed in a 7x7 square grid, but you can’t see the edges of the individual dominoes, so you can’t tell which two numbers go on a single domino. It’s your job to figure out where each individual domino is. The logic is much like Sudoku. It’s I’d give it 5 stars if its hints included help with where you have made mistakes. It looked like some hints were wrong, but that might have been a result of my having made prior mistakes. It also needs some way to help you track when you’ve narrowed down the possibilities.
New version has a terrible bug
This has long been one of my favorite puzzle types, and I loved the previous version. However, the current version has a bug that really should have been caught, and it makes the app hard to use. If you hit "undo" to remove a domino, it also removes all the barriers on the edges of that domino, even if you had placed some of them before placing the domino. The undo function needs to remove the domino but leave intact any barriers that you'd already placed. Solving a difficult puzzle often involves making a "what if" move by placing a domino hypothetically and seeing what happens; if it leads to an impossibility, then you can undo all the moves back to the hypothetical move and place a barrier between the two squares of the disproven domino. But with this bug, undoing a series of moves in this way doesn't correctly return the board to its earlier state -- barriers are now in the wrong places.
This app would get four stars from me, but this careless bug spoils it for me.
Another simple feature I'd love to see is to be able to indicate somehow that you're making a hypothetical move and have it and all subsequent moves indicated in some distinct way -- in gray lines instead of black, something like that, so you can see at a glance what on the board you have solidly deduced and what you are hypothesizing. Then you should be able to accept the hypotheses (turning the gray lines to black) or remove them all with one touch, rather than having to backtrack one "undo" at a time.
MS
I loved this game until I installed the new version. It's hard to see what lines have been blocked. This style might work well for Apple's new icons, but it doesn't provide a good experience with this game. I won't be playing this one anymore unless I find a way to get the previous version back.
LOVE it!
It's like sudoku but with dominoes. Its been my go-to logic game for the past month.
