"At first I loved Doofus Drop for its style and concept, then I played it for a minute or two and thought it was crap, then I played it for a few more minutes anyway; upgraded some stuff, accepted my own limitations within the game and settled down to enjoy the lack of effort and easy drama. Now two days later I think it is a work of rare genius and still can't put it down. It's a good game to play after a hard day contemplating the meaning of life: playfully arguing with a friend about which series of Power Rangers had the highest special effects budget, or debating what you'd miss the most after an apocalypse. It's safe to say Doofus Drop is not for everyone*, but the emotional thrill of achieving a sweet long drop (through no personal skill, merit or entitlement) is just peachy. The game invites a sort of zen-state, where the less you care about the outcome and the more you pay attention to the details the further you appear to travel, but it might just be me. Plain but amusing…

For a free launch-your-character game it’s amusing enough. I am docking a star bc the ads are oppressive, and the worst part is when it forces you to watch one you A) do not receive any reward and B) are forced to click three separate times to close it and will STILL get sent to the App Store page. It’s not a good enough game to tolerate that level of irritation.

Love this game! Bought the 2nd Hill. All the mods and upgrades are hilarious. I even have my spouse using the fart machine mini game to send each other farts to our phones!😊🤣🤪 Only reason for 4 stars, not 5 stars ⭐️ is because the sound has a glitch that forces me to sometimes restart app to fix annoying repeating knocking sound. Get this updated. I’ll change my rating. 😁

Best Game On The App Store?

It’s weird humor seems to tingle my brain, and it’s really fun seeing the different routes doofus can go. I even thought of buying the plush. My ONLY pet peeve is that it’s a pain to get stars but even that’s not bad. 9.9/10!

Horrible progression

Would be a fantastic and fun game is the progression wasnt so horrific. Upgrades take hundreds upon hundreds of stars, and you only get 20-40 for even a 2000-4000m run, its ridiculous. You have to play for hours just for one small upgrade that improves you by less than 1%

Fun but a major problem

This game gives of Toss the Turtle vibes and I like that. My main problem is none of the buttons work after a run, so u have to close and reopen the game every time. Other than that, this is a fun game that’s great for long play sessions or just a quick game or five to waste time Score would be 5/5 if not for my problem.

Certified classic

I’ve had this game for a couple of days and I can’t put it down, I never write reviews but this game is deserving. The simplicity of gameplay, the sound effects, the music, the weird animations, all the way down to the color and tone is very satisfying, I’m actually thinking of buying the tshirt I love this game so much!!
