Excellent App especially for old persons who need to take more than one pill
Superb application. I have had a surgery and need to take a large number of medication at specified time. The application not only helps remind, but also track the medicine taken as well as stocks to enable reorder well on time. Besides it also allows capture of a whole lot of useful information related to the medicine and dosage. Simply love the application. What could improve is the alarm. It rings once and stops. Hence can be missed. It should ring continuously. Pricing is a bit steep.
It is a good app. I recommend it.
Very interesting and useful application. However, a checkmark against each drug indicating that the drug has been taken should be incorporated. In the current form, even if a drug has not been taken for whatever reason before specified time, display will move to next dose. This can even be fatal, in some cases.
So far this app has helped with my post surgery med schedule. My children all live in different locations than I. It has helped with reminding me when my next med may be taken. Also I can leave them notes on my well-being throughout the day. This has been so great for my post surgical care. I’m also thinking of getting this app for my 91 year mother who likes to be in charge of her own meds. We all get busy and sometimes forget when it’s time to take a medication or supplement. This is a game changer!
It’s been so helpful to have the reminder for my meds on schedule!!
No truth in advertising. The description of the app shows some wonderful ideas that would be helpful to my senior Mom. Unfortunately the ability to change medication type (not everything is a pill) or add the photo requires a paid subscription. Disappointing. At least be honest
Easy to use and helps you stay on track with medication and communication with family
We’ve used Dosecast successfully for many years. It has the best scheduling options, including both “time scheduled” and “interval” based, (i.e. every 5 hours). It allows you to turn or off things like early dose warnings. It allows you to attach photo of your med. it works great with my Apple Watch. I wish Dosecast would let you hide the reminder pop up window rather than forcing you to “take”, “skip”, or “postpone”. Then we could see which other meds are upcoming. The Cloud Sync option however needs work. It stops working occasionally; reinstalling the app usually fixes this. This feature is crucial so I can help my wife monitor her many meds. However I’ve looked at many other similar apps and none can match Dosecast. I would rate it 5 stars if the Cloud Sync feature were more reliable.
I am using the unpaid virgin, and I love that its easy and clear to use.. its like an alarm but with more details to add about your doses and pills
