DoubleMap Bus Tracker

The majority of the time the app doesn’t work properly.

It will take “when using” as “when installed on the device” and always track your location.

Does not work.

Well… On a positive note, it’s very helpful when it works, but I definitely have some complaints. For starters, the tracking is sometimes way off, like it’ll say the bus is coming in 10 minutes but it already left so I completely miss it and where I live there won’t be another bus for almost 2 hours. Secondly, busses will literally just disappear. I’ll check a stop to see my options, decide I’m gonna take a bus and then I check it again 5 minutes later to see how much time before I need to leave and it’s as if it was never there, very helpful for planning… Lastly, the ui is kind of bad and not beginner friendly, I know how to use it now but it’s definitely not intuitive.

This app seams to only work in the AM in Fort McMurray. It never works in the afternoon, no busses show up on it.

Seeing the bus in real time, heavy cloud cover not withstanding, is such a great way to catch a bus. Like showing the kids that the app knows where the bus is!

Bus arrival time is way off. Makes it useless.

This map works great because then I don’t have to sit outside forever to wait for the bus

I would give it more stars, but for some reason the app hasn’t been working correctly. You click on a bus route and it says “oops, something went wrong” I haven’t been able to see bus routes for almost a week now… hopefully this is fixed soon..
