Dronelink Flight

Dronelink can look daunting at first, as it has a fairly steep learning curve, but you can do so much with this app - it leaves others, such as Litchi etc. way behind in the dust! You can setup waypoint, orbit and mapping missions as basic or as complex as you like - the only limitation is your imagination really. You can plan flights via the web app on a PC, or directly via the phone app - also these are synchronised between devices and can be downloaded to your phone for offline use, so if there’s no internet connection out in the field, you can still fly. The app really isn’t that complicated, once you spend a little time exploring what it can do - and so much is actually done for you anyway, in just a few clicks. The best feature is the ability to preview a flight beforehand in a virtual window, then export it and view it in Google Earth Pro - or do it the other way around, by importing a path from Google Earth to Dronelink, where the flight mission is automatically created. The other great thing, is the support - there’s a users forum, where you can get questions answered quickly - also, the developer is constantly active on this support forum, answering questions very quickly indeed. Definitely recommended!

The functionality of this app is awesome but the usability of the app is incredibly poor. Some of the actions you need to take are not obvious at all!

An outstanding piece of software. Devs are communicative and responsive. Support is also quick. Even on Saturdays.

A very impressive piece of software. Missions easy to plan and visualise via the web interface. No worries at all letting the app control my drone. Dronelink is one of the only apps I could find that works with my Mavic Air 2. Queries related to my subscription also dealt with promptly and politely.

Right now for lite licence for life is still only 20 bucks, grab that whilst you can, it’s all you need for personal use. You need pc or Mac to create missions. So many possibilities with this setup, constant updates to the main Dronelink mapper.

This is one of those amazing, developer inspired apps that is essential for drone automation for the drone industry. So many use cases can be realized using this software. From photography and repeatability, to mapping. The sky is the limit! Love Dronelink!

The mission planner works on a PC or the portable device but, on portable you will need a data connection for the mission planner. This application seamlessly flew a large mission with two battery changes, it retuned home did the battery switch and it completed the mission. I was able to create a point cloud and an ortho very accurately with GCP’s.

Absolutely deceitful. This app makes it look like it is free, but its only free to DOWNLOAD. If you even try to create an account with them you have to pay a minimum of $24.99 for the smallest account. Not cool. Stop wasting people’s time!
