Why does this app have so many issues?! It always logs me out, I can never log back in. Change my password so many times and yes it is the correct password and yet again, I can freaking log in. What is the point of having this “security system” when it doesn’t even do what it’s intended to. Legit wasted hundreds of dollars. Always something going on, it’s reliable half of the time. Something needs to be done.

My system has been saying door open when alarm is activated doors are closed. Please contact me for the solution to this issue.

I’ve been using Drone Mobile in excess of ten years now. As a user it’s 5 stars. As long as there is cell service where the car is parked; it works like a charm. Geofences, vehicle tracking, operational alerts, start, stop, lock status is all great. I gave it a four because they removed a lot of the account functionality through the years. So when a car is sold and you want to add the subscription to the new vehicle; you have to call customer service. The do a good job when they get back to you. However, you have to sit on hold for about 10 minutes, and then request a call back which takes a while to get. Once they call; they’re great. They really should either pick up immediately, or offer the callback with a que time for the call to be returned immediately. Anyway, great product that works as advertised.

The drone mobile app was working for a few years but now it has worked for a year. I keep trying to figure out, but have been unsuccessful. I have updated the app, but I get the same response, “please check if the device online”. Anyone have any suggestions. It would be much appreciated.

I had drone in my 2012VWR for one year until it failed. They sent me another module which was installed but the new module needed to be activated which all steps were followed along with trying to contact customer support.. its non existent calling answering in when the online app will not allow any other updates on the account. I did as the app said call in for activation and they NEVER answer your on hold regardless of the day of the week or the time you will NOT ever get an answer just on hold. I waited 30 minutes each time and once 40 minutes and i called in almost every day for over a week trying to get help so save your money and buy another system. The app stated i must call in for activation so it’s a waste of time dealing with these people. Too bad the drone worked perfect until it failed, save yourself grief and buy a different system

Keep having data refresh issues. It will stop working for hours. Not good. What am I paying for???

I would give it 5 stars but sometimes it doesn’t work… Super convenient for times I need to get into my car and I don’t have my key…

Updating my prior negative review to positive. Finally received the info I needed. Dronemobile needed to do an account reset on there end!

App is garbage and continues to worsen. I’ve had to physically reset the device just to get the app to work on more than one occasion. I’ve had to contact support within the first month of use and have experienced ongoing intermittent issues since I began using a DroneMobile compatible device. Geolocation does not function adequately. Support will try to lecture you on the use cases of your app where DroneMobile may not function as intended but won’t be transparent about why the app does not function as intended. Conceptually brilliant, poorly executed. Update: Support informed me that my issues were due to cellular coverage in my area and sent an alternate SIM card to resolve the issue. It didn’t. This further reinforces my statement that it is some aspect of the DroneMobile app that is not functioning as intended. The vehicle is consistently out-of-sync and will remain in an erroneous state displaying that the vehicle engine is on and is still on a stretch of road from my daily commute when it is in fact parked, engine off, locked, and the system armed. It will often remain in an erroneous state for multiple hours and either randomly correct itself, or it requires that I pop the hood, disconnect the negative battery terminal to force a hard reset, and then hope I get one or two days of correct information from the DroneMobile app before I have to begin troubleshooting again. It also seems to de-sync where there is actually a high cellular signal. The app constantly de-syncing and having to troubleshoot and hard reset the device seemingly repeats indefinitely.

So far I heard monthly payment has less glitch. Work for me. I been using this for 3 years now.
