Why Drop exists?
Drop was launched when we wondered if there was any way of getting a good bottle of wine
delivered, you know, NOW...and there wasn’t. It seemed like such a simple idea and a great
answer to hastily purchased wines at either over-priced supermarkets or intimidating wine
merchants.
Launching in Covent Garden in 2016, Drop was in the perfect position to reach all parts of
London, and delivery is now available country wide.
Every single wine has been tasted and vetted, each assessed for value both in your pocket
and in your glass. Wine pairings are carefully considered and sommelier advice is always
available in the Drop Shops and Bars.
This is not a rapidly thrown together list of bottles whose margins are juicier than their finish,
but great value wines which cost the same from the app as they do from our shop.
