Dr Frank was a great help with my ferret!

My Guinea pig had gotten very very sick but we couldn’t afford to take her to a regular vet. We were looking for homely methods to help her but the problem was that we didn’t know what was wrong with her. I downloaded this app and immediately asked my questions. It took them over 48 hours to answer. By the time I had gotten a response my Guinea pig had already past away. I know that I needed a regular vet because nothing was working but who knows, Maybe if they had responded faster I would still have my Lilo today.☹️

I saw this online after I googled for an onlie cheap vet. Did the online survey and submitted a question. I downloaded the app as my verification message prompted me to. But once I put my number and code into the app it asks to use my activity. It doesnt give me the usual ‘Do you allow this app’ question so I click continue and it prompts me with the same ‘Allow dr.tail to use your activity’ I click continue once again and it prompts me with yet again the same screen. I deleted and redownloaded the app but it still does the same thing… don’t know if its my phone or just the app.

This app was good when I first used it in October. They answered my question and everything was great. I ended up deleting it due to storage issues on my phone and another issue with my dog arised so I downloaded it again. I tried to type my question like normal and I uploaded a picture but at the end it told me to choose a plan. This caught me off guard because last time it was completely free. I just have a question about my dog I dont know what this update is but I’m not paying 10 bucks for this!!!

My puppy randomly started throwing up, once a day.. it was a very odd phenomenon because she wasn’t showing any other signs of illness. No lethargy, still drank water, still had an appetite etc… My primary Vet is closed on the weekends and they don’t have an emergency office, so I needed quick answers and Dr. Tail was really helpful! I was able to consult whether or not the issue was emergent or if we could wait the weekend out and get to the vet first thing on Monday. I did pay to have my question answered within 30 minutes, but I’d rather be out $20 to know I could avoid the emergency vet fees, than go in blindly if she was alright! The vet online was able to help me decide that she was going to be safe to wait the weekend out & answered all of my (many) questions thoroughly! It’s a great tool to have on hand if you’re in a pinch like I was! It doesn’t replace an actual vet by any means, but gives a peace of mind to know you can have professional answers quickly.

I have used this app twice and have had great success! It’s easy to use and is nice to have somewhere reliable to ask questions and get honest answers!

This app really helped me! My poor pup was feeling sick and not long after I got an answer to why my pup was feeling the way he was feeling. It also helped me know the difference between whether the situation was urgent enough to take him to the vet or if it was something that could be taken care of at home. Overall very helpful app and great advice for pet parents!

I was skeptical because it was free but they responded relatively quick with not only answers but facts and explications. They have people who specialize in all different kinds of areas, even behavioral health which I thought was awesome. I will be using them again!

I reached out with several answers about my dogs health and they answered in a timely manner. I got all the answers that I needed and it made me feel better not having to worry so much about my dog. Thank you for all of the advice/help.
