App never works
I don’t know why they bother with an app. It’s filled with bug after bug. It hasn’t worked in months. I always have to call to book an appointment. It makes me want to cancel my membership

Love Drybar but this app is such trash!
It’s 2024. Why is this app so annoying now?? I have to log in every time and for some reason sometimes it says my email and pass don’t match. I wish it would just Face ID. If there isn’t a time slot at a store, you have to start from scratch. It would be nice if it showed alternate stores in the area with times. The Fandago app does this now for movie times and it’s so nice. Otherwise, I do still enjoy a trip to Drybar.
My login doesn’t work unless I uninstall and install the app every time… that was the suggestion from support. Totally absurd.
Issues: - the detection for my location to determine nearby shops often mistakenly thinks I am on the other side of the country - you have to click through many many screens only to find out that any given location does not have availability -it would be useful to be able to search by date (rather than location) as there are many times there is no availability at a given location and I check 4-5 locations (with every question everytime) before I can find a location with availability - I am locked out, getting an error when I request resetting my password, and when I emailed the listed email they just sent me the same link again -these issues have been in place for several years and nothing gets improved on the build
You need to add better error messaging in general, it seems your only message is server error. Also, if you break your auth flow, maybe email your users or add better messaging around that instead of defaulting to “you’re locked out”.
I’ve had to create new logins with each Drybar change that gets pushed. Further, the app constantly tells me my email and/or password are incorrect even though the exact same credentials work to sign in online. Why have an app if I have to book through the website? An app I can’t even login to 80% of the time. Not to mention the website frequently has issues loading - example, I go to select date and time of appointment and the the times do not load.
I have tried everything to get this app to work. Please fix it!
it is a shame that they haven't fix their app in years. major company and can't make clients have the convienance to book appts. you call locations and they don't answer so it's a mess.
I’ve been going to DryBar since the first one opened in Brentwood. 5 stars+ for the actual company 1- negative 5 stars for the app and all tech associated with it. I rarely write app reviews, but this one’s so bad. I hope corporate reads it. I have a double barfly membership and I always have issues booking through the app. I was even traveling out of state and same thing issues with the app not only that when I tried to search online it would reroute me to a further DryBar than the closest and one I wanted to go to…. Because I was out of state I wasn’t quite sure what was right and almost ended up at the wrong one… only mentioning because that particular shop said it happens a lot! seems to me that’s also part of their IT department following up on complaints and making things populate correctly
