Drylendar: Try Dry Calendar

This app has been a game changer for me. It’s no nonsense, simple way of tracking my drinking has kept me on track. There was a recent update recently and my data was lost but a simple email to Francois fixed it. He explained the reason why it happened and all my data was restored.

App recently updated and unfortunately my data was wiped, including my premium account; sent François an email and was all restored within a day. Couldn’t be a nicer guy!

I downloaded this app at the end of 2023 as a way to try and reduce my alcohol consumption. I’d previously done various stints of a few weeks here and there of not drinking and then fallen back into habits where I’d drink for 3 or 4 nights a week for a month and then stop again. There wasn’t any consistent approach however having this app has helped keep me disciplined and has helped me so much with keeping myself from falling into habits I don’t want. There’s something about just ticking off the days and seeing the number of days without alcohol climbing up. So far this year I’ve had two stints of 60+ days and now I’m up to 50+ and will see if I can make it to 100. There was a recent update which caused my data to be lost but a quick message to Francois and he had it resolved in 24 hours. Sometimes IT issues happen so if this has impacted you, I’d suggest having a bit of patience and messaging the developer to get it fixed.

This is a great app to help you really track how much you drink. Quick and easy to use, so there's no excuse not keeping it up to date. It's helped me ask the question if I really need a drink as I want to keep my streak continuing. Highly recommend.

I think this is a great app; it’s well designed and is easy to use. However, $AUD70/year seems a bit steep in a world where every developer wants me to sign up for Yet Another Subscription. Something has to give, and this is not a necessity unfortunately (for me). I would consider paying about $AUD50 for a lifetime unlock, not $150. While I get that this is why there’s an ad supported version, all ads get blocked at the network level so the app effectively stops working when an ad loads. I think the privacy policy is also a bit too long. My preference is apps with a written policy of “we don’t track anything and there are no ads”.

Ich habe die App sehr gerne genutzt jetzt wurde sie zu einem Abo Model gewechselt. Alle meine Daten wurden wiederhergestellt nachdem der Support irgendwas gemacht hat. Das Abo Modell ist leider immer noch zu teuer deshalb vier Sterne.

Lost my data in an update, dev restored it quickly though. Simple app to use and that’s why it is so great.

Alle Daten weg und Kauf wiederherstellen geht nach der Deinstallation auch nicht.

Die App hat es wirklich geschafft, mich im Bezug auf das Thema Alkoholkonsum zu sensibilisieren. Die Einbindung in Apple Health ist auch gelungen und die App wird stetig weiterentwickelt. Beide Daumen hoch! Mit dem letzten großen Versionsumstieg gab es Probleme mit dem Umzug des Accounts - hier war der persönliche Support durch den Entwickler aber wirklich vorbildlich (danke François :)).

Auch ich habe nach dem letzten Update meine Daten etc. verloren; hab den Entwickler per Twitter angeschrieben und er hat das Problem innerhalb kürzester Zeit gelöst! Bin einfach nur begeistert!
