It’s a great app to review, upload and download images and files on you NAS, but it’s quite limited. Whenever I try to upload a video file, either from files on my iPhone or from albums, that exceeds ca. 5 GB of size the app takes a few seconds doin nothing, and eventually crashes, removing all queued tasks. This is the only problem I shave with this app though, so other than that it’s great in my opinion!

This app is a convenient way to explore content on a NAS, and includes a picture viewer that lets you easily view photos anywhere on the NAS, not just the directories where Synology Photos looks. But, when you view a directory full of photos, you have to manually advance from each one to the next. It would be nicer if you could start a slideshow with, say, a three second delay between photos. It’s a small thing, but it would make the app even better.

I have a brand new Synology NAS and this app worked fine initially until two days ago. Suddenly I can’t watch videos that I had done before. They just stoped working. I looked this issue up on the Synology database and a similar issue was mentioned in a thread from many years back. The thread was locked and it seems to have reoccurred. Tragic when it’s a critical feature

Totally useles app. All I want is to uploat my photos to synology and it seems to be impossible no matter wha I try.

This app looks terribly outdated and the integration with the Files app is barely there, it just opens up an overlay instead of working more natively with iOS/iPadOS. Not ever buying another NAS from you if this is how little you care about your own software

No Raw preview makes it useless for iPad user who edit photos.

The app is fast and works fine. However it seems to have issues with backing up all my photos on my iphone. I have a lot of pictures and videos and it stopped backing up photos after loading 1200 images and i cant get it to continue with the rest. All it says is error with no further error message. Kinda hard to troubble shoot? :/

... awful integration to iOS. You should put some effort into proper native integration to iOS Files app. That would make my files so much more accessible & easy to manage on the fly.
