Easily the easiest and most user friendly app to turn your phone into a dumb phone. Dev did an amazing job! Strongly recommend.

Hey man I’d love to check out your app and buy a lifetime subscription if this works for me. If possible would I be able to get a free trial code for like 2-3 weeks to give this thing a try? (3 weeks cause that’s on average how long it takes someone’s habits to adjust to something new ;) Thanks for taking the time to build it

DumbPhone is a thoughtfully designed app that truly delivers. Unlike many others, it seamlessly takes you straight to your chosen app without those clunky transitions through Shortcuts, making for a much smoother experience. What really stands out is how customizable it is. I’ve been able to tweak it to suit my preferences perfectly. Adding a weather option for the top widget would be a great addition! Since using DumbPhone, I’ve found myself bored with my phone, which is exactly what I was after. Thanks for helping me take back control of my time!

I used the app for free about a month. I then had to pay a subscription if I wanted to continue using the app.

I’ve been using this for almost a week now and my screen time is down by 4-5 hours a day, which is embarrassing. I hated my iPhone so much because I knew I was wasting so much time on it. I thought about actually switching to a real dumb phone, but with my lifestyle as a busy sports mom, I can’t live without things like a digital calendar, maps, Spotify, Gmail, etc. So this was the next best thing. I have everything I need if I need it, but I don’t need to look at all of it, which has made me actually just feel better mentally altogether, so thank you to the app creator. I think you’re helping me get my life and time back. It was easy to set up, though it took me almost an hour. My son liked the look of my “dumb phone” so much that he asked me to do the same to his as well! Thank you!!!

I think it would be perfect if there was a way to block the App Library. Though it’s probably not possible so I don’t blame dp. Do get this!

There was so much thought put into this app. It completely changed the vibe of my phone. My screen time is at 32mins now. If you’re serious about having less screen time and getting back to your life but don’t want to buy a whole new phone THIS IS THE APP FOR YOU!

I was originally looking for a flip phone to help detox my social media consumption, but it was hard to find the right flip phone. Soooo glad I found this app! It also has a detox mode so the apps I want to detox from is blocked!!! And once I’m done with the detox, I can go to setting and hit pause/done. No need to delete the apps and have to deal with logging in again. Thank you for creating this amazing app!!
