Duolingo is very good but it’s sending me too many messages.It’s very annoying😅😅

I actually love this app. It’s amazoni i prefer to Learn something in 3 minutes and pay nothing, rather then pay 60 euro and learn nothing in 60 minutes. I love Duolingo!

Pushed to try Max version for 1 week and charged yearly payment 2 days before test period was tested :( nothing back after cancellation in app and in Apple Store:( but generally good app, but Lily not ready yet

This app is the best. I had to remove app because of limited space in the phone. When I got a new one several month later, I decided to continue learning, and what I found out - my account is still there, Duo greeted me in the first step, no ling forgoten paswords needed, I just continued in the level where I left. This is mind blowing. You just made my day, Duo. And the other good thing is - the person is able to learn for free. Of course there are some restrictions, but they are not so global to make feel the learning useless. Also the learning is fun, the app works smooth. Duo, you’re the one and only. Best wishes to all the creators.

Overall, the application is designed well and you could say it does its purpose. However, they have made the free plan experience as inconvenient and frustrating as possible. Not even mentioning the advertisments that lag, often cannot be closed, therefore you lose your whole level because of an advertisment that can be closed only by completely closing the app and losing all progress, or the loveliest glitch of all - after completing a level, it just ignores that you did it and you need to do it again. The most irritating feature the developers are pushing more and more is making the free experience as infuriating as possible. For example, when you have limited "hearts" (mistakes you can make), they will give you the hardest tasks they know you'll fail to get right. Also, they will not let you watch an ad when you have 1-2 hearts, only when you have 3-4, so in these situations you are obligated to play the useless heart earning tasks, or buy the paid version. When you get an answer "wrong", even if it is actually right, there is nothing you can do. Reporting it does nothing - you will not get any hearts back, and this happens really, really often. You will lose a heart because you used a synonym for a word that they themselves teached you, but for some reason is not relevant anymore, or because they just decide to only suddenly accept a certain sentence structure and not any other correct one. Really, really often, when you have one heart, they will give you the hardest tasks possible, tasks they know you'll fail and have failed before, to make you lose the whole level and either need to do the heart earning tasks (takes like 5 minutes for one heart, but you'll need to redo the WHOLE level, so you will need more than one heart), or buy the paid plan. If you are just planning to learn 5 minutes a day, you could bypass the heart problem, but for any more serious learning, the experience is not competent. Oh, and as I am writing this they have removed the heart earning function completely, so if you run out of hearts you are obliged to fail the level, lose all progress and only then you can earn more hearts. Lovely! I'm thinking about switching to an actual human teacher, because this is just getting out of hand.
