E3/E4 TAG Heuer Connected

I purchased the tag connect watch last week I had the I watch which still do the thing I like about the connect I can have a new watch face for every occasion instead of purchasing a new tag watch every time I want new watch also saved me thousands of dollars as last one I bought was a tag carrerra cost me $7000 as the connect cost me $2300 and have more than 20 faces and health for work out . Only problem is that you can not take calls on it which is a pain but apart fro that overall very happy

New update 9th Sept crashing on Apple

I’ve had multiple issues with all the TAG Connected watches I’ve owned. Watch freezing, fitness apps not working correctly, watch not charging, leather band wearing out in 18 months. Battery life is terrible when using fitness apps. Multiple repairs done by TAG Maisons. Watch face options are improving and overall is a nice watch to wear with very clear graphics. I also own a TAG Carrera Formula 1 which is a good watch.

The update is better than the last version, however it was a total pain to update and the instructions were not intuitive. As others have said, it’s not really an update, rather a delete and total restart.

I was happily using my Calibre E4 running WearOS2 to pay for things. Then I upgraded to WearOS3 this week. The upgrade requires wiping the watch and setting it up again. In itself that’s no big deal. However, now there is no way I can find to add my card(s) back on my watch. After paying a not small amount money for this watch I expect better from Tag. There were no indications that this would be an issue prior to upgrading the watch. As a consumer I don’t care whether this is a google issue or a Tag issue. It would be good for it to be fixed and just work (like it used to)

I upgraded my watch to OS 3 it’s taken me 3 days to get it to work lack of instructions very poor step by step information and the gotcha is it doesn’t use the google west OS app anymore caused me so much frustration , Next test will be out in the golf course .

Thank you for your reply. It would be great to see this happen anytime now since it has been a week. I understand your aim with this is to simply get owners to upgrade to the new version E4 and increase sales revenue. For us who are happy with the “connected 2021” and bought this watch to enjoy the perks we thought to receive from Tag Heuer - It shouldn’t take this long since it’s operating on the same software. It’s a simple update to the software of the watch and application. Thanks
