Would be great if you could choose vocal range!
As a baritone, the app proved useless as it continually offered me soprano notes to sing. There appears to be no way to specify SATB, which would seem to be a standard requirement for a training app of this nature. Very disappointing.
Very effective
My singer teacher notices and she was wondering how I got so accurate. Very great app, very educative and it makes something as dry sometimes as ear training fun and challenging. Well done.

Simply excellent
EarMaster has a very deep, extensive set of exercises. Not a music educator, just a guy who writes and plays music, but think it very likely there will be something in this app for almost anyone, things you’ll find useful, gaps you can fill in in your sensitivity. I’ve been delighted to discover how the ear improves with steady, focused practice, even in areas I had long found difficult, areas I had some concern I might just be unteachable. But work with this enough, apply yourself, I figure you’ll eventually wind up with X-ray ears, nothing much anyone anywhere is going to play you can’t pull apart in your head.

Great app
A must for any serious musician wanting to develop their ears. I’ve been using EarMaster desktop for a while and it’s great to see it’s now available in mobile form, with a consistent layout too. My only complaint is I wish the app could run in portrait mode.
