Earthmate

This app worked well with my old Inreach Delorme. Now I bought a new Garmin Gpsmap 67i. And it’s not on the list of compatible devices! Why? I don’t understand. Can I use the Garmin Explorer instead? Or must I have both the Explorer and Eartmate to make things work?

Kan man inte göra appen så att den visar i telefon när man får ett meddelande från inreach att det syns i notiscenter och på låst skärm? När man parar ihop GPS med telefon syns alla övriga appar i som avisering i GPSen men inte från Earthmate app…. Fast man har samma notis inställningar som övriga appar, hade vart smidigt att få upp aviseringar på GPSen från inreachen.

As other people stated, such a expensive service should have a updated app. Garmin please update.

For a very expensive service that runs with an expensive device one would imagine the app your by updated and bugs fixed. Maybe start with iPhone X support.

Sällan har jag skådat mer frustrerande process för att få igång en liten dj app. Urdåligt. Går inte!

When I select my inReach Explorer’s ID to connect, the app just goes back a screen. I have to carry around an old Android device to be able to connect to this.

iPhone 15 pro max 2020 trd off road 4Runner factory head unit Issues: garmin has to be re-paired to app every time after a few weeks of no use. Really annoying and the pairing is brutal. CarPlay will say accessory not supported when running Earthmate and make it so the iPhone cant connect with CarPlay. Phone will disconnect and reconnect over and over again. Tried different cables and a separate iPhone without the Earthmate app and my CarPlay is perfectly fine. If isolated this to the app.

Latest version cannot use any of your PHONE CONTACTS unless the numbering format begins with “+1”. This prefix WAS NOT required prior to this update. If your contacts do not include this prefix, you will need to either ADD “+1” to all your contact numbers or manually type the number when you want to send a text vi inREACH. Some fool at Garmin did not properly test this.

Terrible app for emergencies . Connectivity is the lousiest I’ve ever seen and should be banned before somebody dies counting on this app
