Its fun, progressive and clearly designed by a musician. The chords your chord progression "questions" are made of have a nice logical prigress. First C, F and G (tonic, subdominant and dominant) and then it expands from there on to Am, which arguably is the next most used chord (in pop musim) - onto Dm and so on. The game would have gotten five stars if it had a different mode, where the chords are not all in root position. Root position chords get easy pretty quickly, so if chords in mixed positions would be a part of a future update, I would call this the ultimate chordprogression training app. After you've mastered the major-key chords, you can continue to minor-key chords and then two other modes. Very usefull and will definitely develop my ears further. Thanks to the maker of the game! Great app!!! :-)

I had been looking forward to checking out this ear training app. But it has no sound. I am using an iPhone 5 and I tried restarting and reinstalling the app - but the problem persist. An ear training app with no sound - well I don't think I can use it.

Should be higher rated. Hope it’s always here in the store.

Hard to see past the silly faces being made at the piano. Guess kids will like it.

Crashes upon startup on iOS 11.3. Can’t even try out. Deleted.

Incorporates a fun way of learning music while exercising memory. Highly recommend. No flashy ads or glitches.

As others have mentioned, this is currently just a game of Simon. There should be an option to randomize the key each round (i.e. Play root, then a random progression each time), or at the very least same key but random progression...instead of just adding a chord to the same progression each time. Also, all these instruments and no guitar???

Really!? How effin sweet! I had no idea! I'll give it a shot, what the hell. Under a glass moon I would perform a liquid tension experiment that could create a metropolis of the six degrees of inner turbulence. :) And to the bloke who is talking about Simon... Dude, if you knew... If Jordan Rudess says it's good, then you'd better believe.

This is dumb, it's just the Simon says game glorified with chord tones instead of various beeps and colors. I don't see how this could help you in any way musically
