Although the App has deserved 5 stars in the past I am very upset with the fact that it has not been updated for IOS 8 , if the developer needs help please contact me I want to help revamp and make sure audio alerts work plus integrate it with Apple watch.
I have used this app for 5 years but in its current form it does not track distance accurately (to say the very least). It tell me I've run 5k when I know I haven't and some of the alerts from run to walk or vice versa don't work so I'm left wondering why I feel so breathless then discover I've run more than I should have. I have a heart condition so this is risky for me. Also the audio info of calories burned etc does not work reliably. It's a real shame because I love this app but rapidly losing confidence in it. I would love for you to fix it as soon as you can please.
Only good thing about the app is the actual timed walk run program. Other than that it crashes, records wrong information and makes up figures/distances etc. I use the nike app to record my running just use this for the timing!!!
The most amazing programme ever! It does exactly as it says. As a person who has never ran or enjoyed running this app was perfect! I have used this and a bridge to 10k app to complete my first ever 5 & 10k runs, loosing 42lb in weight in the process and have just started training towards my first half marathon! Love it and cannot recommend highly enough!!!
I couldn't afford a gym/trainer so thought I'd give this far more economical option a shot (assuming I'd most likely fail - again - in my mission to transform into a Nicole Scherzinger's body!l) But, I've been wonderfully surprised by the results such a simple & easy to use app has given me. At the end of the day it's up to YOU to get up, out the door & 'obey' the app man when he tells you to 'run!', but I assure you if you do and set aside 3 half hour slots a week this will turn you into a running addict. I have gone from being barely able to run/jog for 60 second intervals to now running a full 30 mins without stopping in a matter of weeks. I've lost noticeable weight, my confidence has shot up & with the money I've now saved on my evening commute (I now run home from work most days) the app has in effect paid me back! I've entered to do a 10k run in 6 weeks time & have already purchased the 'Bridge to 10k' app in preparation. GET THIS APP!!! I honestly cannot recommend enough.
In middle of my first workout music suddenly stopped, app had opened the appstore and device was complaining about internet connection. When i returned back to app, it did not resume the workout from the same point. You should definitly disable advertising features while the workout is Active.

Ideal for people like me who don't know a great deal about running and how you might get into it.
I hate running. It's boring. It's unpleasant. There's nothing to do. Nothin to look at especially at a gym and if your outside its cold and when you've had enough your miles from your house. This app changed all that for me. It's easy, more interesting and makes you push harder and I've achieved more than ever before. I'm on week 6 and each day I look at it and think "I'll never do that" and I do and I'm dead proud. Awesome work. Simply fantastic. If you hate running and wanna lose weight, you'll never regret it.
