Get real-time airport weather data (Aviation WX/METAR/TAF/NOTAM) directly to your iPhone and iPad. Search for weather stations and airports all over the World (FAA, EASA,...). Easy Aviation Weather - WX is a quick and simple solution to make your flights as safe as possible.
This application is designed to provide aviation weather information for pilots including the followings:
- Current weather - METAR data
- Terminal Aerodrome Forecasts - TAF data for aviation weather forecast
- Automatic wind calculations - For each runways of any selected airport
- NOTAM information
- ICAO, IATA aiport codes
- Latitude, longitude and altimeter of the stations and aerodromes
- Current weather conditions
- Sunrise and sunset time
- Wind degree and wind speed
- Sky cover conditions, global weather information
- Air temperature, dew point and precipitations
- Automatic flight category classification - VFR, MVFR, IFR, LIFR
- Nearby stations and airports to be able to change your destination in flight.
- Aviation WX weather report: (airports details,METAR,TAF,NOTAM)
One airport available in the free version.
The systems supports (US) Imperial and Metric units and complies with EASA and FAA specifications.
IMPORTANT NOTE: With this App we display all the AVAILABLE weather and forecast data provided by the aviation weather Center and the National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP). If you don't see METAR or TAF data, or anything else, please understand it is not our fault but a lack of information at the source.

Slow updates
I’ve used several different metar/ Asos sites. This is by far the slowest to update for new data. Sometimes doesn’t even update. Definitely find a new one that’s faster.
Good. Could be better
Does not always update.
Weather data fetch takes far too long.
I only have two airports configured, and they are both major airports in the United States (Texas). Upon app startup, a fetch of current weather data begins. That fetch usually takes several minutes to complete. At this writing, I have a fetch underway that has been running for 8 minutes. That’s far too long.
Upgrade-seems backwards
The upgrade limits the number of airports I can get data from

Edit: They fixed the app! Thank you for actually listening! I purchased this app a few years ago. Since the update I have lost my purchase. I have tried multiple times to restore the purchase but it won’t work. Avoid this app until it’s fixed or it’s just a money grab.
Broken
Update: developer fixed the bug to restore purchase but still can’t view full metar or taf. Was great. Bought the pro version. Now after updating can’t restore my purchase. Can’t view full metar, cant view taf.
Can’t restore
Was a good app and I enjoyed using it. I purchases the pro version 6-8 months ago, and after recent app upgrades, I’m unable to restore my purchase basically making the app useless. Searched but can’t seem to find a way to contact app developer. Seems like this is a common theme with other recent reviews.
Buyer beware
Liked the format overall. However, the second I purchased it, the favorites option would not let me store more than one airport. That was the whole point in making the purchase……to save more than one favorite airport.
Additons
So far I liked the app enough to purchase it. Anyway you could add a couple of IFR airports for me? KCBK KGLD
