Easy Currency Converter: FOREX

On the IPad the app has a ridiculous huge calculator that completely covers/blocks out the numbers you are trying to fill in. It actually takes you away from the conversion portion of the app to a calculator keypad the only shows the number keys. There is no visible indication of the numbers you are typing. So you aren’t able to see what you are typing until you hit a total. And then there really isn’t a total key on the calculator. The app is very confusing.

A very good currency conversion app with some fixes needed. Pros * Can copy source, target or both currencies, copying both currencies also copies the country code so you know what is what * A list of your favourite currencies is shown below the conversion * Swipe right for a historical chart, swipe left for financial news on the currency Bugs * You cannot reorder your currency list without unchecking and then adding them back in the order you want * App reacts slowly to input, enter numbers too fast and it will not register, eg, enter 5 digits quickly and you will see this bug, try this on other apps and this does not occur * You cannot paste in a source value, it must be entered in manually * Trailing zeros are suppressed, entering 1.00 becomes 1, a financial app should never do this * Precision numbers are truncated to 2 digits, entering 0.74161 becomes 0.74, a financial app should never do this * Automatic rounding occurs, entering .745 becomes .75, an option for no rounding should be added * No option to copy values without thousands formatting, a value of 1,230.00 cannot be copied out as 1230.00, the decimal should always be there, but an option to suppress the thousand character should be added

The ads on this app are super annoying! I’ve attempted to upgrade to the ad-free version, but the functionality has been disable and a ‘void’ error message appears every time upon upgrade attempts.

Twice in the last 3 weeks it fails to refresh and get current rates. It’s useless without live data.

It’s quick, it works, it’s reliable. Sometimes the ads are annoying, but hey…. It’s free. I consult it often.
