EasyRoute

As the title says, pretty useless since it crashes when trying to route. Further it only seems to support Google maps, missing e.g. open cycle maps for bike path info. Other apps such as e.g. footpath are much better in that aspect.

This app does everything that I need it to do. It easily zonks onto the map for easy measurements. The only thing that I have not figured out is how to get it on my Apple Watch. Someone please help me with this.

I’ve been using this app for more than a year, and agree that it’s hands down the most convenient route planner I’ve ever found - great when traveling. The only issue I haven’t entirely sorted out is why previous routes cannot be permanently stored to the phone. There’s an offline mode that should work, but I still find that every time I open the app, it has to download previous routes. This is a particular issue when I’m traveling without cell/wifi access, and routes I’ve created in advance are often unavailable - have folks found any solutions for this?

This is an easy to use app, I use this to create does to sync to my Coros Apex. Super easy. Only ask of the developer is to add the ability to set way points!

This is a great app, much easier to use than any of the other route builders including those built into garmin connect and Strava. I’ve been using it for a couple years. It is very intuitive and easy to use. Well thought out and executed.

Broken

I wear a Garmin watch and travel a lot. This app has opened up new courses that I can try out and run by plotting a course, exporting the .gpx file and putting it on my watch. Super easy and intuitive. Thanks for the great app- spend the $1.99 and support this app.

Easy route will not let you make a route on trails. It lets me go on nonroad trails though. That’s OK for me. I normally run on the road anyways. I recommend this for drivers and none trail runners/walkers.

I’ve been using this for a few weeks creating routes for my Wahoo ELEMNT Bolt. It quickly creates interesting and generally safe routes with just a few clicks. The created routes are easy imported into the ELEMNT using .gpx file format, but many other export options are available. I’ve also included a mix of road and trail to make interesting routes for a cyclecross bike. Easy Route has somehow created interesting new versions of my regular boring local routes. Very pleased with this utility! Thanks!

I’ve been trying for years to easily create and export cycling routes to my GPS devices. It’s always been a struggle until I found this app. If you like to plan rides and load them on your device to follow, there isn’t anything easier or better.
