Language & Text Duplication Issue
Hi Instagram team,
I’m a content creator and I love using the Edits app, but there are two major issues affecting my workflow:
1. Caption Language Option Missing:
The auto-caption (CC) feature always shows my captions in Arabic, I can’t find an option to manually select my caption language. Please add the ability to choose the transcription language — it’s essential for bilingual creators.
2. Can’t Duplicate Text or Captions:
There’s no way to duplicate or copy an existing text layer or caption. This makes editing time-consuming when I want to reuse the same style or text. Please add a duplicate/copy function for captions and text — it’s a basic but much-needed feature.

I haven’t been able to export videos for two days, deleted music, duplicated, closed the app. Nothing works.

Cannot figure out how to add a QR code to the image
Same issues as Instagram
I’ve tried a few times to open and edit new projects, but the same issues always happen. Text disappears or shows up when it’s not supposed to. Captions malfunction. It’s frustrating to want to create and post on Instagram but always have to build outside the app.. which then I seemingly get punished for with the ol’ algorithm and not using the platform’s native features.
Malfunction
After countless videos were added, edited, and stitched the app hasn’t worked in 5 days. I can’t export the video created. Don’t waste your time. Use CapCut.
Add Volume Gain please
i like the app but the only thing I have problem with is that I can’t increase the volume Gain of the footage like other editing app and its a problem for me if you add that to the app it would be great
