EGDR808 Drum Machine lite

Really odd. It’s not working like the 808. Can’t make my own drum patterns. Avoid if you want to make your own beats.

Al in all a pretty useless app. Useless controls. Tempo is all messed up. Banners all over the place. Not the same programming as the original. The original 808 has some pretty basic functions. If you’re gonna make a kind of a clone, stick to those functions and maybe add on if you have to. Don’t try to make a new 808, you’re not that good. All in all, this app got deleted within 5minutes. That bad.

Buy the paid version, it is such a deal!! This is the best designed drum machine iphone app I’ve tried; it actually works so well i feel like i don’t need hardware. Getting started is fast and easy, all the controls work well even on the small screen of my iphone 13mini. Thank you for making knobs that always work perfectly with a touch screen, that’s a rare thing!! It is faithful to all the features and workflows that make an 808 so fun to use with the added benefit of a graphical sequencing screen that’s easy to switch back and forth into. It just works as it should and lets you create the beats you want to create, with no fussing around in submenus. Perfect!! The sounds are great too, really faithful to the original! The only reason you might prefer the hardware over this is if you want to go back and forth tweaking multiple volumes and tone controls, in the app you have to select an instrument separately to see its individual controls. Song mode is to the right if you swipe and it’s great for laying out a whole song so that you can start it up and let it go while you play smoother instrument etc. really intuitive and well thought out!

Does not acknowledge my purchase when using on ipad.

But what’s the difference between this and pro?

Can’t change note value of sequencer, very very very low output with no master volume control, free version has huge banner and you’re only a couple accidental clicks away from upgrading, practically a scam

I guess the developers never seen or used TR-808, they just made app based on lite google research and quick basic sample pack download. The MARACAS sample don’t exists?! / CLAVE / RIMSHOT - MARACAS / CLAP - switches are not implemented on the interface. Without it, I give it 2 stars.
