This app used to work fine, but now I can’t get in at all. Completely useless!
App is painfully slow after the latest couple of updates- the loading screen just to see the snapshot page sometimes takes 1-2 minutes, and trying to get into any transfer or settings pages takes even longer. Edited 11/25: I am NOT enjoying the app, despite the bizarre developer response posted here. The lagging loading screen is a serious detriment- if I need to check my balance or make a quick transfer on short notice in the checkout line I’m totally out of luck because it takes 10 minutes to get anything to work. This needs to be a priority to correct, as the mobile website is pretty clunky and not an appropriate substitute.
The app errors out before I can even log in. If you select to submit feedback you get an “invalid” error screen. There is no way to submit for app support. Not great.
This app is so bad. Constant bugs and constant forcing me to re-log in when I’m in the middle of using it. The only reason it has 5 stars is because all the bad reviews seemingly get removed (that has happened THREE times so far with my review).
While I am ok with this credit union for the most part, the app is a joke. There are many glitches and it seems almost impossible to access things that should be right there on the front page such as your rewards. The app is difficult to navigate as it leads you through these loop-holes along with glitches. Thinking of switching my bank account just because of how irresponsible the app is.
Use website instead. They constantly take away details to view on your accounts, payment details to loans(how much goes to principle vs interest), or any details pertaining to loans except for interest rate and ytd paid interest. App is good for checking balances and transfers thats about it.
Hey team - long time ECU customer here, first time reviewer. Latest 2024 May update, can’t reorder my 10 accounts nor does nicknaming get retained. QA/QC did not do its job here, please address asap w fix. Also excessive re-authentications vs other credit unions and banking apps. Thank you.
correctly. What is showing as a total in your account is always incorrect. I’ve had to pull money from the account and when I make a payment on something I transfer that money in because if you don’t do that, it will bounce every time. I’ve even come to think that elevations is keeping money because somehow the total that it says is different than the total of money I’ve put in and there is no explanation. For example, if I spend $2 I actually transfer in $2 and it still bounces back saying insufficient funds. Does not make sense. I wish they wouldn’t have updated the. App to this one. It’s horrid! Really disappointed I cannot use this app to keep track of my balance.
It's amusing that another review is titled, "use the website instead", because I find the Elevations website even more dangerously incompetent than the app. The website authors are so flagrantly clueless about writing a website that they can't even figure out how to get an account number during a transfer. The phone app developers are so incompetent, they cannot figure out how to find a third-party tool to take photos of checks without making the user wait and wait and wait until it finally gives up on "automatically" taking the photo before honoring us with the privilege of doing it for them (let alone writing such a tool themselves). As an engineer myself, I would happily tell this to their face, except I would need to use very small words for them to understand. They take are that bad at what they do. This credit union doesn't have a clue that people generally use websites and apps instead of going into the branch (at which the people are surprisingly competent and polite), so they hire particularly dumb elementary school dropouts to write the software that we have to use. Go elsewhere before you get trapped by the stupid people through a mortgage! You have been warned. Let these losers go bankrupt. They deserve it for the blood pressure spikes that they're online presence causes. The great people at the branches can find employment at a credit union that has any idea what they are doing.
