In our app you will find 1000 flashcards containing idiom meanings, example sentences, pictures and correct pronunciation.
Have you ever seen those strange phrases in English that have absolutely no sense at first sight? How hard you try to translate them literally, and you still don't understand them. Until... you realize that your native language contains something like that. These expressions are called "idiomatic language". Every language includes conversational expressions or phrases that have figurative meanings.
Many such expressions, in their original use, were not figurative but had literal meaning. In course of time, those phrases became figurative. And we still use them very often!

Не ведитесь на фразу «без рекламы» в описании. Тут ВСЕ платное. Бесплатно только 50 (50, карл) слов. Все остально - только платно, каждые 50 слов - 100 рублей. Интерфейс симпатичный, но пустой. И русского нет, чтобы понимать значения этих идиом, нужно иметь итермедиэйт. Новичкам вообще не подходит. Снес через 2 минуты.
Pay for 100, but get only 50 cards
This application is pretty useful but... when you buy 100 cards, as it’s written, you get inly 50! Because it’s not 100 cards but 100 photos, so each card has 2 sides, and you get only half of what you paid for.
Not bad but not good either
I like the interface, the art style. It’s well programmed, operates smoothly. But it’s ridiculously overpriced for half baked product. 1000 cards instead of 1000 idioms it’s kind of cheating. It’s relevant to all your applications. This is my piece of advice finish the work make really 1000 idioms and knock off the price for 1$ or 2$ and you will earn much more eventually.

Действительно очень мало бесплатных карточек, как, впрочем, и платных. Не нашла многие из тех, которые хотела иметь в виде карточек для наглядности. Жаль, что нельзя просматривать все идиомы одним списком, не прыгая по разным блокам. А ещё было бы здорово добавить функцию группировки идиом по темам: food idioms, animal idioms, clothes idioms и т. д. Из плюсов - наглядность и хорошие примеры. Обязательно нужно добавить возможность сообщать автору о тех идиомах, которые ещё необходимо добавить.

Транскрипции нет, указания какой страны идиома нет, звука нет. Тупо набор картинок с листалкой. Еще и написано 50 карточек бесплатно, а по факту 25 только, каждую сторону карточки за 2 карточки считают
