The app is so easy to use! There’s no guessing where to go and what to do. Straight to the point! Self recording feature is working great! I had absolutely no problem with that. I’ve seen a review mentioning some problems with it. I guess, it’s been addressed. I like that on the same screen you can listen to the correct pronunciation and compare with your own, recorded. Just brilliant! Just came to my mind... What if the app had an option to chose a voice? For example, for me as a woman it’s easier to compare myself with a female voice. But it works the way it is. I’m grateful for that tool that I can use to improve my English pronunciation. And I already see a difference!

All ways giving “process error: try again” message. Other than that it’s a good learning tool.

The app focuses on key pronunciation aspects. You can record yourself and compare with the lesson recording. The app reviews tongue place and mouth shape for each sound. The speech recognition evaluates your word pronunciation. This is very important to gauge progress but this part is bugged. It often says 'error recording' and keeps repeating the error until you exit and re-try. It makes you sound the word 5 times before you can get the true result. This feature needs to be debugged and improved, then this app would be 4 or 5 stars.

I wanted to like this app but it just keeps crashing :(

The tutorials are intuitively laid out and provide a ton of great vocal and visual examples that other English-learning tools I've looked at don't really provide. This app is worth every penny!

Very colorful and interactive. Easy to use. Extremely helpful for improving my speech accuracy and rhythm. I recommend it!

All four core exercises are intuitive and effective. The culminating "Speech Recognition" exercise is especially motivational and helpful. The app covers all the bases - vowel and consonant sounds, grammatical endings and word and sentence stress - for a very reasonable $5.99. It's a great app for self-study or classroom use. Kudos to the developer Language Arts Press. I look forward to seeing what they do next. I have a master's degree in TESOL and am in the classroom full time, so when I discover new, quality products, it's exciting!

This app is fun, comprehensive, well organized, and solid in its presentation of the various sounds in American English. The illustrations are crystal clear and very helpful, as are the explanations. There are contrasting sounds and opportunities for the students to record and compare their pronunciation to the model. Great for individual and group practice. Excellent for teacher reference. There are numerous pronunciation apps out there, but you can count on this one to be 100% accurate. Based on solid linguistic knowledge.
