Very efficient and easy to work with

Disappointed

Whilst Emphase products for solar are the best l have to say l’m disappointed with the app it’s very basic and not user friendly. I’ve seen better apps with better displayed information which are a lot easier to use and set up.

Doesn’t seem to handle time of use tariffs

Smart meters are pretty much standard these days and time of use pricing adds enormous complexity. This app doesn’t help with this much. The few $ figures the app does produce are out by an order of magnitude as a result. Not great if you’re trying to manage cost or understand payback on a solar system.

Hopeless

I want to know how my panels are operating now, not 4 hours ago.

Brilliant

The App is fantastic. It is intuitive, well set out and very functional. It is sufficiently detailed for what it is intended to achieve.

Does the job. Should open live view by default

There are some reasonable insights from this app however, that’s probably mostly due to the way the system is cataloguing every individual panel (just the benefit of the Enphase method). I’d like to see the graphing clarified more along the lines of the Fronius method, where the production, self consumption, consumption are overlaid with one another, so that you can see a direct comparison between import-export and consumption. A.k.a. usage vs generation. The grid dependence indicator seems to be completely random, so I have no why our dependence percentage does not represent our current reliance/usage (max 2%). It is showing a range between 30 to 40% grid dependence but currently we are consuming, practically 0% electricity and generating between 13 to 18 kW a day which is all being exported to the grid at the moment. Lastly, I think one of the most practical terms of reference, in looking at comparisons of what this electricity generation is saving, would be in terms of a percentage of a battery for a car and the range/distance that Car could travel. I’m not sure why these apps haven’t been updated yet to indicate how far a particular car could travel if we were charging it from the Solar that were generating. Another example could be hours of usage of an air-conditioner. this would be way more useful to understand than the fact that I’ve theoretically been capable of charging my phone 1100 times today!? so perhaps you should plug in the data of several popular EV makes and models to show as a reference. that would help people understand and move towards EVs.

Very helpful apps in monitoring your Home Solar energy plant.

Software updates on the app is not consistent

Got the inverters recently installed and immediately ran into problems as the software updates didn't come through resulting in some glitches connected to the solar panels

Hi, Go Solar was one of the best things I’ve done ✅. Haven’t paid an electric bill for close to 14yrs. I’ve already paid for 7 more solar panels, along with 2* 5.4kw batteries. So if there’s a power failure my batteries will keep my Hm running with power. How goods that ? It’s great. 👍🏻👌🥰😃🙏🏻😇👋
