ENYO is a tactical roguelike about hook & shield combat.
Grab your hook & shield and descent as Enyo, the greek goddess of war, into an ever changing labyrinth to recover 3 legendary artifacts.
ENYO's gameplay is based on the idea of indirect combat. Enemies can only be defeated by pushing or pulling them into burning lava pits or deadly spiked walls.
While staying accessible through the limited amount of actions a player can take, the core of ENYO are highly tactical turn based battles. To enter the highscore leaderboards for each of the 3 game modes you are tasked to master your weapons and create powerful chain combos through clever maneuvers.

Incredible!
One my of favourite games of all time, and the best value I’ve ever had in a game. I’m still playing it many years later, the gameplay has huge variety and depth. There’s incredible challenge as well, to see how far you can push yourself.
Timeless game
This is an incredible game! Been playing this on and off for years, and I always come back to it. Mechanics are great, gameplay, graphics, and the mystery to each monster adds even more to it!
I don't know if you (Developer) still make games, but I would love to see a larger version of this game, with maybe a campaign sort of game mode, or even a more continuous and expanding map, where you move through it, encountering these (and maybe new) enemies, whilst also completing different Puzzles!
Good job!
Awesome little gem
This game is one of the best on the App Store, can’t stop playing. (:
Great little tactical game
At first glance a simple tactical game. However most enemies have some sort of nuance to how they behave or what they're vulnerable to that needs to be exploited at higher levels. Very good.
Daily game is fantastic
Quite addictive, all challenges are never the same.
Great strategy game.
Great game
Very satisfying game. My only minor complaint is that the controls are sometimes unresponsive which can lead to an untimely death.
Brilliant
The game is great strategy game. Fans of Hoplite should definitely check this out (I go through phases of both). Cool music with an interesting range of enemies and multiple game modes. The game I keep coming back to. Great yourself
Awesome game
Amazing puzzle game that fascinates the mind. Easy to learn, and VERY hard to master. One request, though- Please get rid of the yellow arrows. This seems irrational, I know, but it is one of the most annoying mechanics I've seen in a game in a while. The fact that it affects both dashing and hooking interrupts the flow of the whole level, in my personal opinion.
Great simple mechanics...
Which become complex quickly! It is very reminescent of chess to me (with the same frustration with myself for not seeing a fatal move coming!) in a completly different setup.
I wonder if there is a way to turn in a pvp mode? Monsters vs monsters? Monsters vs hero?
Compact game with fun and deceptively deep gameplay
There isn't a load of content, just 4 moves and, maybe ten enemies (I haven't finished it yet), but what there is works brilliantly, and random level generation keeps it fresh. The moves are nuanced and multi-purpose, and the enemies simple but well varied. It seems easy at first, as you can take your time, but mistakes are costly and easy to make as levels get more crowded. Enemies can move you into the path of other enemies, and such unpredictable chain reactions very often lead to instant, frustrating death. Your frustration is usually with yourself though, for missing a key detail, or rushing a move.
My only real gripe is a lack of info anywhere (inc forums) on how to defeat each enemy. Some are effectively immune to certain moves, and the act of discovering that normally means death, start over, work through the levels, then try something else, sometimes fail and die again, etc. Then of course you rush, make silly mistakes, etc. For me that felt unnecessary. In later levels, navigating the many enemies can become very convoluted and feel impossible.
Nonetheless the enjoyment even of just the easier levels feels worth the price to me.
