Awesome for programming endurance rowing workouts. Love that it integrates with Concept 2 logbook.

Like the title says, this works well with the Assault Rower. Hit the Bluetooth button and connect to the app. It’s great and well worth the subscription for me.

I know Concept 2 is the standard training erg for rowing, but the WaterRower fit better in my tiny row house. Unfortunately, my trainers use ErgZone and it’s not compatible with my WaterRower, even with BlueTooth. Teammates love this app, I just wish it would work with my machine.

Although I think this is a fine app. I’m more interested in the Logbook and Rankings than the programmed workouts. I find getting to the logbook and moving through the rank data to compare times difficult due to a poor user interface. Much could be revisited for improvement.

This makes it so easy for me to hit my workouts without painstakingly entering intervals directly into the monitor. A feature that’s really needed though - I really need the app to make a noise at the end of intervals when it’s time to rest and again when it’s time to begin the next interval. I’m often selling my soul during a tough interval, so, I’m not staring at the clock and I’ve missed my rests before.

ErgZone is the best app that gives comprehensive understandable, reliable and customizable options to help you perform at your best. Not only on the indoor rowing for workouts, classes and private instruction, but for racing and community -- it just can't be beat. The developers are very responsive to feedback and are constantly making improvements to meet the need of the rowing community. The premium features are well worth the extra costs. This app is really good for creating and tracking my rowing sessions. The only improvement I’d like to see is when you create a new workout and hit the x to close, that you have a confirmation pop up letting you know you would lose unsaved changes. This happens a lot where I set a long distance, and when I add splits, the save button is far down and out of sight, so I click the x and lose it, then have to remake it. Also, if unique names for workouts could be required, that might be helpful. It’s probably very uncommon, but I was showing someone how to use the app and duplicated a workout I just finished, then accidentally deleted the wrong one bc they had the same name, etc.

While Concept2’s app is better than nothing, it doesn’t list my split times in real time. ErgZone takes care of this important need and does so much more. 10k rows are my bread and butter, and ErgZone allows me to see my split history (500m or whatever you want) while I row. The ease of entering custom workouts is another huge plus. Heart rate tracking is excellent, to say nothing of a BUNCH of helpful data I can see in real time. It pairs easily with my PM5 and I’ve never experienced a crash. I don’t know what I would do without it!

Lots of flexibility, easy to program, and easy to navigate. Highly recommended for use with ANY concept II out there!

This app allows me as a trainer to reach a lot more people and develop programs for various needs. The interface is excellent and the support is industry best. I highly recommend.
